Damn that's really not much at all. Back to the drawing board on character number 4. If only the siren maiden wasn't nature.
I spent 0 and am doing just fine. You can get a lot of good units from weakly quests. What is the problem with tuesday quest. The hard ones r easy and all you need to beat the heroic os having more then 10k hp so u survive one hit from the final boss.
I'm glad you have had a good experience with weekly quests. I've gotten two or three guys, like Raiding Pirate, and its made an incremental difference, not significant.
You really need to get those 4star guys. When i got my mountain dwarf when he was in the weekly quest one cycle before his last appearance boosted me a lot. I got a bit lucky there since i got him on hard difficulty but sooner or later on of these decent guys will drop for u as well.
I got the mountain dwarf thanks to some awesome friend extras in my list. I can do the easiest Phoenix Prince level, which is a good way to level up - can't touch the actual Lair though.
Devs: Would be nice to see a "time since last login" thing on the Friends list, so I'll know who I can safely delete because they've quit. (Also, anyone with a 6* Guinevere or a Crystal Phoenix, hit me up at gNdbOcnQBS for a Goldilocks / maxed Red Riding Hood / Midas pal. I'd like to do Phoenix Prince before he leaves and I keep getting the same three guys every time as 10-point buddy options, all Sages. Not that those aren't awesome for clearing Heroic, but I need healing for the Lair.)
Can you really get an Elemental infused orb from Wednesday drop? All the times I have done the Wednesday mission I have never seen one and King Thrushbeard needs it to evolve I also second a friends list sort function to see who is active
I managed to get a Crystal Phoenix last night....I don't have enough to evolve it but wondered if you guys think I have any possible combo that could work in the Phoenix Prince Heroic or Hard. I can beat normal easily with an all blue team. Sorted by Element: 6* Frog Prince (L60) 5* Princess Ivy (L60) 4* Siren Princess (L60) 4* Green Marksman (L50) 4* Robin Hood (L50) 4* Jack (L1 just got him) 5* Sapphire Sage (L52) 5* Mountain Dwarf-Master (L55) 4* Raiding Pirate (L40) 4* Crystal Phoenix (L45) 4* Snow White (L42) 4* Princess Briar Rose (L50) 4* Fire Enchantress (L60) 4* Fire Knight (L40) 4* Beast, the Master Warrior (L35) Thanks in advance...
Yeah, it's super rare. I have gotten 5 after weeks of playing, and only one has been used (Prince Charming evolve). It has to be the hard Wednesday mission, the one where you fight the giant golems by element. The last boss drops it at like a 5% drop rate or something ridiculously low. Only reason I have so many is that I was hard farming that dungeon for green orbs.
Crystal Pheonix gets a pretty impressive boost in stats when you take him in the Hard mode. Leveled up, he can almost clear out the Hard dungeon himself. Heroic, I wouldn't suggest. A team that would probably work for Hard would be: Crystal Phoenix Snow White Raiding Pirate Mountain Dwarf Master If you can get a Lancelot friend. I've got a level 100 fully pimped Lancelot, if you'd like. My friend ID is: rHX2mkezZr
Sure thing, just realized my post sounds like it doesn't suggest bringing him into the Heroic mode. Pets are some of the best subs to bring into their respective dungeons. The increased stats that they get will turn them into monsters for Hard, and beasts for Heroic. I can't speak to their usability in the actual Lair part of the quest (haven't beaten any of them, and only have Brownweave Bear), but I'm guessing they're a great help there too.
Well like I said I was already beating Hard pretty easily with my blue team, but taking that blue team into the heroic with the crystal phoenix instead of the sapphire sage I got wiped on the first group. Part of that was just a bad set of gems to start with, but regardless I don't think my other blue guys are strong enough. At 40AP I just don't want to waste another try at it.
Have you tried boosting crystal phoenix with the other heros? I tend to run in with paladin, prince charming and easily get 40k dmg just from crystal phoenix on a bad match and have done 2+ mil dmg with luck.
A lot of it is using link. Remember, it's only 5 battles, and you should probably have 70+ at this point from clearing dungeons. Don't go crazy, but don't be afraid to use it. Here's the team I use: Lancelot - Level 100, max potions Prince Charming - Level 71, max potions Big Bad Wolf, Tyrant of the Woods - Level 78, almost max potions (missing some power) Snow White, the Master Sorceress - Level 50, no potions I try to get a Charming or Thrushbeard friend, although Crystal Phoenix is a beast here. This is pretty much a "Crush it" team, Lancelot's link regeneration is useful, but honestly 100+ link is more than enough to spend wildly. I've actually beaten the boss of the place in one round with a Charming friend. So, I'll be writing this down for my future usage on the wiki: Phoenix Prince - Ash Lake (Heroic) Battle 1: 2x Water Wizard 2x Fire Wizard Not sure about the enemy names. The important thing is that they don't have any special abilities, they just hit pretty hard. My approach to this is hit them hard, and finish at least the Fire wizards ASAP. Large area attack works best, and if you can kill them all in one turn, so much the better. Battle 2: 1x Water Hellhound 1x Fire Hellhound This is a stall around. Kill one of the hellhounds (probably Fire) ASAP, and then stall until you're happy with your skills being charged. DO NOT KILL THE OTHER HELLHOUND IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 6.5K HP, AND A DEFICIT OF HEARTS ON THE BOARD. This is important. As soon as you kill the last hellhound, you're gonna take a punch to the face. Battle 3: 2x Fire Pain-in-the-butts They preemptively attack you for 6,428 damage (3,214 apiece) unresisted and are both on a 1 turn counter. This is a pain in the butt, and you want to kill at least one of them as fast as possible, and both of them quickly. They hit hard, and you don't want to stick around. Battle 4: 2x Water Ogres 1x Fire Ogre (big) Approach here varies. Basically, you want to kill two of the above ASAP, and leave the other up for you to heal and recharge skills. The Fire Ogre hits pretty hard (~4k unresisted?), but also has a lot of HP. If you can tank it, kill the Water Ogres and go from ther. Otherwise, well, it's your choice. Battle 5: 2x Fire Guardians 1x Fire Boss The final battle. You basically have 9 turns to kill 2 Guardians (High defense, but only 10 HP), and the boss. Catch is, of course, the Guardians will prevent you from doing any damage to the boss until you've killed them. Depending on how strong you are, you can either do 2 rounds of mass attacks, leaving you 7 rounds to kill the boss, or kill them in 1 round with 8 rounds to kill the boss. Either way, you'll have about 7-8 rounds to kill the boss. Just unload. Use all the link you want. Smash his face in. I use Charming's gem change here, as well as the Big Bad Wolf's nuke (depending or not if I have Thrushbeard).
That's great stuff, Raistailan, and exactly conforms with my own Heroic farming on this one. Between your participation in this forum and that wiki, BTG should put you on payroll!
You dont need those exact heros was mentioning them as sanples. The whole point i was making in general was if you have a crystal phoenix you dont need to build a super hitting team type of deal. You can do a build enirely focused on the pet so this doesnt apply to everyone. Only brought it up as most team build strats are not focused on one character as those dont tend to work well but with the massive bonuses pets have it is a viable strat. Im not trying to revolutionize or wow ppl just saying something that some ppl might have overlooked.
