Welcome to the team, Goldilocks. Three stones. One turn before killing blow Winnah! As you can see, this was not an optimal team for taking Goldie on. Leader: Red Riding Hood, Tamer of Wolves 98: 2625H 1826A, Fire Mountain Dwarf-Master 90: 2699H 1734A, Water Forest Druid 80: 2283H 1316A, Earth Blazing Witch 77: 2128H, 1499A, Fire Base Water Resist 25% The key was the Storm Sorceress ally who popped up: this wasn't a friend, so I don't have exact numbers now, but the active knocks (iirc) 20% off incoming damage on a 16-turn timer ala Rapunzel and the passive is 35% Water Resistance. That boosted Water Resistance sufficiently to allow me to stall long enough to get her active up, which blunted Goldilocks's attacks enough to let me survive two of them with the Forest Druid's autoheal figured in. At this point, it became a very very very long war of attrition. I didn't have any way of doing significant damage to her in a turn, even with Witch's defense halver active (I don't think her DEF is that high anyway). Using Mountain Dwarf's heart-to-water-burst active would've been borderline suicidal, and Witch and Sorceress's were one-time things, so it became a simple matter of causing as much board churn as possible without having links, using Red and Druid's actives in emergencies to generate some links or untangle problematic boards, and grouping hearts together whenever possible. The only thing that Goldie could do to kill me was an epic case of heart orb trolling -- going several turns in a row where either no hearts dropped or none dropped anywhere near each other. This happened three times. This is not a 'make the next legend boss harder' request. This one was like tonguing Satan's buttocks on a New York subway.
Noob looking for referrals and help just started today. Username AxisNAllies Code: 2bz4aZI2QV Thank you
Please add. Strong leader with Attack: 1144. Defence:1505 Y60z6s3NLU Need two more friends referrals to unlock a new character. Please help. Many thanks!
My Goldie just got a good one -- Legionaire 5, 1% increase in critical chance, 39% increase in critical damage. Highest I've seen so far for that.
Tried out the Legionaire Heroic quest (note to Blue Tea: two ns in Legionnaire). It's basically Fableton Library. I wiped twice, once in round 1 and once in round 4, due to the 15-count shields guarding liches who bind your units. Either you ubercombo the shields to death on sight (hope you brought the right color team) or you die, because soon you're hitting the shields once or twice per round instead of 5x while the shields and liches do full damage every round.
Yeah. I'm getting awfully tired of new content that has the chance to spawn as unwinnable (for the EXACT same reason, no less).
New player from Hawaii! Loving this game! Is there a way to transfer save game between devices? I have it on my ipad and iPhone and don't really want to start two games. Also looking for referrals imqDxD1ra9 Mahalo
Elixir. No skills charged + random starting board = high chance to be mathematically unwinnable. You literally have 1 turn to kill it or you get bound every turn and die, and far more often than not it's simply not possible to do so with the starting configuration. Now, those things don't always show up in the first wave, and when they do it's not ALWAYS impossible, but it shouldn't ever be, especially with the huge stamina cost and short duration. It's not literally a bug if that's what you're worried about, but it is an annoying issue.
I concur somewhat, although my opinion is not complete since i do not know the rewards for the quest completion and if they are good enough it might be still worth it (got wiped by the same liches 2X aswell). I really don't like the fableton library purely from the point of the reward is not worth the investment. I am not sure exactly how much it gives u but i think it is around 50k exp worth of in books in total. Using keys to get elixir (as well as heaps of gold and some player exp seems preferable for me). Since there is almost no way to fail the elixir quests for higher lvl player u get about 200k gold 25k worth of exp in books 16k exp for player and the elixirs for the 30 keys u use on fableton library. On top of that there is definitely a chance to fail the library quest so the only + of it is "saving" time.
that is a good one, unfortunately i just got a Queen Guinevere a bit after the goldilocks quest had ended. I am quite confident i d have been able to beat her with guinevere snow queen 43% water resist from archmage and over 35% crit chance, since i was able to stretch the fight for 20+ rounds even withouth the extra healing from guinevere
Even if it's NOT on the first turn, it's a brutal wave. The odds are pretty good that even with an effort to stall, you won't have skills up on Wave 3 or 4, and even if you DO you need the right kind of high-damage team and some luck beyond that to break the shields' defense immediately. Phoenix Knight's autodamage is affected by defense, and poisoners' skills won't be up. It's SUPPOSED to be a really nasty dungeon, for the cost (and the same goes for Fableton Library since that's on the same formula), and there need to be challenges to keep high-end players occupied. But it's not likely to be a reward worth stoning for, so for now I'll stick to grinding out potions.
I just started playing and this game is pretty sweet. And I need referrals. Just need a few more for thrushbeard :3 ID: qTQwnlKZCn Thanks! And is completing a book the only way to get gems? Kinda limited if you ask me.
I am done with the Rare Draw pull, as it simply doesn't like me at all. Just blew five stones on a Sea Captain. Outside of Red Riding Hood when I first started playing this game, I have had two decent Rare pulls (Barbarian and Ivy) and a horde of garbage. Pretty much everything I've actually found useful has either fallen from weekly quests (Mountain Dwarf, Apple Queen, Goldilocks, Blazing Witch, False Prince), acquired from the Normal draw (Mages, iirc one of my Druids) or painfully leveled up from 3* (an Enchantress, my other Druid). Stones will be better served when needed for dungeons like Goldie's.
I believe it was said that there's an improved drop rate for the REM "drops" of the week (this week being the 3 linkmakers) on the last day of the week (Saturday). I don't have anything to corroborate that, but it's worth keeping in mind.
That being said, while I have gotten decent drops from the rare draw, I don't think I have ever gotten the stated drop, even with the higher drop rate on the last day. YMMV--it's heavily luck-based. I'm that girlfriend Raistailin mentioned in his first post, and I'm just going to plug the wiki again--we could really use the help adding to it, as there's only so much information we can get between the two of us.
Wiki is Up! Hey everyone, In case you missed it, there's now a wiki for Fable Age: http://blueteagames-fa.wikia.com/wiki/Fable_Age_Wiki It's still pretty new, but wicked useful!
