Have you got something with a high crit chance like a Rose Red in your team because that would kick ass with that Snow Queen.
that is nice. a gepetto would be good to boost your total links and give you a multi-color group. If you have freedom to link, multi color groups seem better to me since you can use almost all gems in each attack. I find as long as i can chain at least 2 together, i can chain everything and sometimes even loop it. Gets insane damage.
Yeah +16%. Close the loop and that's up to 25 hits, each with that bonus, so likely +14-28 links from crits
Can I ask how you guys get past the minotaur-absorbing-damage guy? Does having more combo help? Cos even though I do a high combo, My damage to that dude is capped at 2340+... Also if anyone could point me to a catalog of heros would be great! (If it exist!) Thanks! Nehe
Skills ignore that thing's damage absorb...nothing else does. I was farming a lowbie version of him for elf skillups and can only hit him for 600-something despite throwing well over 100,000 blue damage at him just to see if it would work. It's annoying.
Thanks Hephaestus for the reply! I think I faced 2 of those absorbing creatures in stage 20 level 4 quest.. Still thinking how to get past them!
Been waiting for Tue because my whole party I'd waiting on evolves. Quest shows up... All are 25-30. Okay, I wait like an hour to get 25. I go in with 26 stamina. Glitches, says it's out of sync, reloads the app and took my stamina I'd been accumulating. Didn't happen the last few days when none of the quests interested me. I was able to grind away fine with those. It happens on a quest that's super expensive and super limited. One of four attempts down... I actually contemplated setting an alarm for the middle of the night. ::shakes head::
Be warned: the 25s are pretty easy, the 30 is insanely difficult, on par with the last tier of regular books and with shorter attack timers.

I'm on 23 and it's an adamantium-plated wall. I can trivially farm the 25 Tuesdays but the 30 one destroyed me earlier. I'm about to try again with a 6* Merlin, so we'll see if that's enough without having to use a stone. EDIT: 6* Merlin and a pinch-crit did it, finally
Pretty much sailed through the three hard Tuesday quests with little bother. However the water quest didn't drop a water dragon skull, just a dragon horn. The other two hard quests dropped a dragon skull and horn. So getting a dragon skull doesn't look guaranteed. Don't know wether to attempt heroic??? Edit: Took 3 tries to get the water dragon skull
I'm sorry but I have to share my frustration here. Last tier of books basically force you to use a stone by artificially limiting the damage you can put out for the final wave using the absorb mechanic. I have fully evolved close-to-max-level 5star heroes and your hits are capped at 6k no matter how high your combos get. At the end of 5 turns, you are out in a single hit. You can then complete the round by using a stone for revive. I was planning to buy some stones for more rare heroes but now that I saw this gated approach to progression, I won't be doing that.
