Thanks for the tip, I just snagged it off the website, will check if it downloads properly when I get home. It screwed up when I had my credit card selected so I went back and tried it again selecting "use microsoft points" and it worked. "Current balance: 2200 Price: FREE Balance after purchase: 2200. Thank you for your purchase your game will be available when it finishes downloading on your console." Sounds good.
Perhaps not the right forum for this topic, but for 360 owners, it's worth noting that this is part of a new program to give Gold members two free games a month. Announced at E3.
Nice. Do you think they'll do this again with a different game? I just bought fable 3 for $7 (on a card) and was just wondering.
They announced in their E3 conference that they are giving Gold members 2 free games per month up until the XBOne's release.
Is this only for Xbox gold members? on a different note, I got either Fable 2 or 3 free over a year ago but I don't know why. At least it SEEMS like it's the whole game.
Had this game since it came out, and I never understood why it got bad reviews, I think it's possibly even the best one of the series. I hope this free release is build up to the reveal of a fable 4
It's an absolutely terrible game, but worth playing at the price of free. Why is it showing up as "$19.99 for gold members" for me? Was it one-day only?
Yes, just for Gold Live... Fable 2 was OK.. I heard not good things about 3, but could not argue for free... It is the whole game (6 Gb) compressed...
