Or "were"... depends on how you see it. O.k., now my story: in January 2010, I changed my payment method from credit card to iTunes gift cards; I felt that I was spending too much money at the AppStore. I've set my limit to a 25€ gift card per month (roughly 35 US$). From January to February, I needed two more 15€ gift cards, because the ones I set as limit were not enough... From March 'til April, more and more games went free, so a 25€ card was enough each month. At the end of April, nearly 5€ were left on my account. At the end of May, I had 12€ left on my iTunes account - because I needn't to buy more. End of June, and there were 23€ left on my account. I hadn't the need to buy a gift card this month, because there are 30€ iTunes credits left. As far as I remember - the most games I spend my money on in the last two months were games from the huge GameLoft and EA sales. Last year, I bought 8-10 indie games each month. This year? Maybe two or three a month. So, the truth is - these Euros, even if not very much, haven't went to those who need them most on the AppStore: indie developers.
lol the last game I bought from a big company was... Assassins creed 1. Like last year or something. All my mine goes to indies pretty much
That's ridiculous, especially if you are a child. 25 euros is a hell of a lot, around £22 pounds, that means in two months you'd buy as much as I have with my own money in a year. At least your spending habits have curved down now.
Ya i only spend maybe 5-10 US dollars a month, and i still have all the decent gameloft games and lost of indie apps
Well, another reason for me may be that I have more then enough games right now. I'm feeling fed up with games sometimes and only buy outstanding titles.
Kid? No. Not really. I know a bunch of people on TA who spend 50-80$ every month on iPhone games... easily. I'm much lower on this scale. And 25€? That's not much. Maybe the price of 1-2 budget games for PC's.
I think that any more than 10 dollars is a lot, but yeah 80 dollars or even 50 dollars is ridiculous.
I really need to stop buying games. I've spent about 60 bucks total ever, and I feel like there are too many options to choose from so I never really get to fully enjoy a game. I got a 100 dollar gift card a few days ago and I haven't bought anything.. need to finish a few games first before getting new ones
The most annoying thing about harpgliss is not the fact that he trolls about faad(which is extremly annoying), but the fact that he has to say hi and then sign his name at the end of every single one of his posts
? whats that supposed to mean? Oh and also i loved the hodapp and insm teamwork back there a few pages back
