Cmon. Dont think or dont makes us think that much over $2 or $4. For me thats fair. This money will give me more than Im paying regarding entertainment. Anyway, for each his own.
^lol Don't like double-coiner that's why i spent twice a dollar (2x25'000) to unlock the other song (35'000). Though i have some left, i try to go the hard/normal/grindy/boring-way. This song is too good to my ears ! Off-topic: Does a thread exist like SOTY (sound of the y.ear) ? So many "little" games lately with fantastic sounds. No discussions please, just direction to the thread, so there is one. Thanks.
I'm also not a very big fan of IAP, but I really like this game, so I bought the doubler to support the devs. Hopefully they bring a few more tracks of this amazing heavy metal soundtrack. Rock on, Secret Exit!!!
Score me as another person who is happy to pay a reasonable $2 for the coin doubler which seems to make the progression move at a decent rate. I agree that without the doubler, the game moves slowly, but it is enough to allow someone to try the game and weigh the value proposition. While I prefer a fully playable non-IAP approach up front, this seems to be a very reasonable approach, fair to the user and giving the developer a chance to succeed. In any case, this is a fun game and the music and pyrotechnics put it over the top. 5 Stars.
I agree completely. I'm one of the biggest haters of iaps but I don't understand the hatred on how they're used for this game. It's completely playable without any purchases and the amount of coins you earn isn't great but it's not abysmal. Awesome game and worth spending a few bucks to support the devs. Great game. Party on!
Well, if you don't think befor soending a couple measly bucks on iaps, pretty soon you could end up with a $10,000 appstore bill. I'm not saying you, in particular, don't have self control, but... That's why I hate the "it's only 99 cents arguement". There are god only knows how many games in the appstore. If I didn't think before spending 99 cents in itunes, I could spend enough to buy a car.
I made a thread for ios game with the best music. It didn't last long, I don't think. My vote went to Radballs.
To all you people screaming Ripoff. Are you serious? If 5 or less dollars is too much for a iPhone game, you are a idiot I'm sorry.
@Frand Any chance the Eyelords will make it as some free skin choices in Dismount? They look like just the kind of pretty faces I'd love to see smashed along the side of a mountain any day!
Worth a consideration! At the very least the next update of Stair Dismount will feature a new level called "Mosh Pit", which is a shameless plug for our new metal love child. It has already been submitted, we'll see when it comes out... (Also adds iPhone5 resolution support to Stair Dismount.)
Fantastic game! Great graphics and music, smooth gameplay, highly addictive and a lot of fun! I bought the coin doubler too, these devs definetely deserve support! Highly recommended!
I grabbed this last night and I'm completely hooked. Spent the $2 on the coin doubler, now I can use boosters on almost every round and still build up my cash for other upgrades.
I also appreciate that once you've gotten past the last real power-up unlock, additional experience levels, while maybe taking a little more work at this point to clear, will net you 5,000 credits, more than enough to really help power the upgrading of the spawanable power-ups.
Just a quick reality check here... what ranks are you all on currently? The current max rank is 30 (which unlocks the Mercury Crown) but we're planning to kick that up in updates.
I'm halfway through rank 18 at the moment with no IAPs but the coin doubler pretty late in the leveling process (maybe 14th level).
