Someone needs to write a f2p general practice manual for mobile devs who can't put themselves in the gamers' shoes. As mobile moves far beyond its infancy gamers are becoming wise to the monetization practices and realize bs when they see it, hear it and are asked to pay for it. As a dev, you get generally one opportunity to make your impression on potential buyers. Personally, I don't read app store reviews, but apparently they carry some weight.
