So I still don't know, is this asynchronous for multiplayer? I prefer my online mobile gaming that way due to everyday life. That would make or break whether I buy this.
It's not. The game is constantly moving and requires action when it's not even your turn in certain situations. It wouldn't work at all as an asynchronous game.
Wow, just wow. Just bought this game because it received the online multiplayer update and I have to say: wow, this game is so good and so much fun! Go buy it! Edit: damn I also just won my first game. My heart skipped a beat, lol! This game is a must have if you like 'party' games.
Yes, home WiFi, pretty stable. It was more than 16 hours ago. A few hours ago I played a game and it was pretty much good and fun too!
Going to give this a try. So when you start a game, it's "live" meaning you can't leave it and come back like in Capitals or Letterpress right?
Jep, all real time. The games are short though. Couple of minutes. So it's not that you need 20 minutes for a single game or so. It's pretty perfect actually.
How's the community for the online multiplayer? Can you easily find a game via matchmaking or do you need to wait a lot?
Literally takes seconds to start a game. Haven't has to wait a single time and I don't believe I've bumped into the same person twice.
Can we choose friends to play with? Like if I wanted to play with my family who live 4 hours away is there a way to do that? Or is it all random matchmaking? Billy
It is possible. One person needs to host a match and if other people want to join, they need to have the code of that room. Correct me if I'm wrong. And yeah, it only takes a couple of seconds before a match starts with usually 5 people. Must be a big playersbase.
I'm so glad I'm finally able to play this. I don't even care if I lose. Everyone is on an even playing field with this game.
It's indeed just pure fun. I can't say enough that this game (with this online multiplayer update) is just an absolute must have.
Last questions before I pull the trigger, how does this play and look on an iPad? It says iPhone so it doesn't seem to be universal. Did anyone try this on an iPad? Also, can this be affected by the dreaded Game Center bug? Does it need to login to GC?
I can't answer your Ipad question (I think it just scales). But I also have the GC bug and this game is working perfectly fine!
