I've been playing RPGs since the early 90's. This is one of the most creative and inventive I've ever played.
Sorry..no it doesn't. Especially when other rpg games in the iOS universe get you more content for the buck. There is not one rpg game that costs more than $1/hour played other than this one, even if it retro.
I will take the dive and purchase if anyone can confirm that it plays fine on a iPhone 6 Plus? Any issues to report on this device?
Man this looks awesome but it's over in 1 play thru in 1 day? 4.99 ouch. You can get space marshals with way more adventure. Any plans on updates / expansions? I'm not sold
Should research first, this is not a straight rpg, this is an action adventure game in the style of Zelda with some rpg or jrpg complements..,and for sure there are no games on ios similar to the concept
I was going to say it's not a traditional rpg. Seems more like an homage to the different RPG styles over the years. Getting this the second I get an iTunes card today. $5 seems well worth it
Are you guys getting crashes during the game? Wondering if it's just the iPad or if there are workarounds...I'm enjoying collecting all the stars and cards...and I am hoping the card game yields some interesting prizes. It's funny. When I am in turn based battle and want to cancel a selection I'm like damn, I can't do thatcome on, devs! But then I thinkmaybe that is something I have to unlock. Or maybe that's part of the Schtick of that time period. Funny. Great game aside from this crashing during the card game.
Plays better in my opinion on the 6+ than my ipad because the touch pads are currently fixed position and same size no matter the device so it just feels more responsive on the 6+
Unfortunately yes, i have. First i had crashes after leaving the option screen and on the second savepoint (in 16 color area). The restart of the device solved the problem. Now, the game crash during the game over screen. About the crash screen: It's a black screen with a very small and outlined font on the upper left corner, tells someting like "error error", but it's impossible to read more for my eyes. My device is an iPad Air (1) with newest iOS.
I'm at the boss fight in the dungeon (soon after you unlock lava), and haven't had a single crash so far. iPhone 6, 128 GB on 8.1.3.
Anybody no how long this is seen a couple of mentions that it may only be 4 to 5 hours long seems short for a RPG
It's about 3 to 5 hours long. Thing is, I don't know where people are getting the idea this is a full-fledged RPG. It isn't. It's more of a concept game...a tribute to adventure games and their evolution.
Still a dollar an hour if thats true ! Still great value. I mean you've got an iphone 6 ! Buy this game to support the devs instead of waiting for price drops etc
Can't read your sentence you didn't use any punctuation there oh and learn how to spell know 5 hours still seems like a lotta game if you are into this kind of thing if it's a crafted experience that stuff takes time to make well take care peace out only kidding by the way as you might have guessed look I haven't used any punctuation either am I a kiddie rebel or what
I'm just running into this issue. Started for me right around the,"you have earned prerendered background" and the first time you play that card game while earning bombs. As soon as I attempt to play the card game, evoland just shuts off.
