It's just Evo fanboys trying to justify their purchases... I say be happy with what you get and who cares WTF I use...
I think most of their purchase is justified by the considerably lower monthly costs. UK customers at least.
And the fact they get a bigger screen, flash and can customise their phone how they want, frigging not locked into itunes also.
I was disappointed after Engadget's review. I was really interested in it since I don't really want to shell out €400 for an unlocked Desire. It does look purdy though.
Yeah I looked at it too and was put off by the price. I think I'm just gonna go with a regular old phone, probably the Samsung Jet. My sister has one and it's pretty nice, does everything quickly and has Facebook/email widgets etc. Strangely enough I was thinking about how so many people seem to buy iPhones after being sucked in by the App Store adverts only to find out they're only really gonna use 5-10 apps at most, 90% of the time it'll be Facebook. I see about 30 people a day with iPhones where I work and they're always on Facebook. Some of these people must be paying contracts of about £60 a month for the pleasure.
