A couple more images. First is a render of various treasure chests: And here is the concept art for the Rogue hero. Clumsy yet sneaky - we're not quite sure how he pulls it off.
So are we guarding the treasure chests or pillaging them? Do we start off with them or will they appear with some of the dropping pieces? What happens of one of those do gooders gets the chest?
The EMO will be guarding the chest from the start. If the heroes defeat the EMO and get to the chest, game over man, game over!
Is there more than one chest he's guarding? If just the one why some many different intricate models there?
The EMO will guard one chest each level. The different chest designs are for different levels, just to add some variety, cuz of course variety is the spice of life..or evil doings, as it were.
Only one more day to submit your suggestions for the EMO's weapon names to win some iTunes or Amazon gift cards! Go submit your names either to the TA thread or the EMO forums.

Got a new video showing the in-game HUD in action. In addition to showing the UI elements, you can see the HUD adjusts nicely to different screen resolutions. The queue of items is on the right, with a slow/fast button above it (the turtle - it turns into a hare when you tap on it to go faster), the red/blue buttons below are for spells, a pause button is at top middle, and the item controls are in the center (rotate left/right and place). The background is just concept art (placeholders).
We're shooting for January. We're just about to enter beta, so as long as we don't encounter any major problems, it should be good to go next month.
