The only downer is the energy system. if you die you either need to use 1 fuel or revive ticket. It is free, but with energy that has to refill. But with a single IAP purchase, you can play without to wait that the bar recjarge. The rest of the IAP are coins to resurrect during the fight (you get more than enough during the game). I recommend this game to anyone. I'ts free and if you like it, you can buy the game for 2 bucks. This game has a lot of bosses, helmets with special abilities and upgradable weapons. This game is absolutely brilliant and I can't believe that it's free and not a total IAP fest. In fact for $1, removing the energy system is perfect. The icing on the cake has to be the graphics. They're so perfectly done to fit the retro aesthetic....everyong is just awesome.
