So today I felt like playing some more Evhacon. I booted up the old version (that's right, I've got both right in my RPG folder), and I just rushed through the game as quickly as possible. I skipped through the dialogue, ran away from enemies that I didn't have to kill, only went to houses that I had to, and it also helped that I played the newer version as well. It took me 45 minutes to finish it, though I'm sure I could bring it to half that time if I played again. Anyway, the game is excellent for a speedrun haha It was just fun to play the game after the revamp and then compare it to before the revamp.
Thanks Primoz, I'm glad you actually liked it. Too bad you've finished it already. I'd like you give it another go for funsies once v1.1b is released (next week hopefully?) to check out the new changes/fixes (no longer delayed controls, etc) and the extra quest rewards (the Tahlani sacrificial dagger as well as the Aecherian round shield - both unique items). Have you had a chance to read some of the lore books (if you are into that) and in particular the one about the hamlet? Did you get the reference? And... uhm... the way I see it, that over there, really just looked like an ordinary fork!
Hey again folks, PATCH v.1.1b is about to go live later today -Smoother more precise controls -New option to switch between exploration/combat modes manually -New option to select between two different camera styles -Fixed a bug in the inventory that didn't allow players to equip items past the 15th slot -Fixed several quest rewards Stay tuned for the next update that will feature multi-language support as well as a new in-game scenario with new loot and rewards.
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned already, and sorry if it has, but a free version of Evhacon has popped up last night: https://itunes.apple.com/nz/app/evhacon-tkv/id977021977?mt=8
Good to see it's finally here. What does TirKione mean? So this is basically the same version as the paid one, except that it has ads. Anyone tried it yet? Are ads very intrusive? Also, why does the free version have slower framerate? Anyway, the 1.1b update should come soon. The developer had some trouble with the approval proccess because one of the screenshots has blood in it (the same screenshot was approved in the previous version...).
Hey guys, we are about to update both versions of Evhacon once again. Evhacon Tkv (Free app) - is going to be upgraded from demo to fully-featured episode with banners (hopefully less intrusive - I don't really have much control over iAds). Evhacon (Paid app $0.99) - is going to feature better controls and options among several minor bug fixes. Stay Tuned for more updates! Spread the word if you like the game, that's all we ask! -Pietro
Version 1.1b is now available on the AppStore. People who bought the paid version of the app can upgrade it for free. -Pietro
So guys how does this play?? Is it smooth? I tried the free one but it had terrible control even though it looked fantastic! If the devs worked on this alot more it is defo a cash cow if done right...
Bug Hi Peeps Is this a Bug? Valentus wants me to escort him to the great hall. So after i found the blacksmith etc, spoke to Velentus, he followed me for about 3metres and went back into previous stance and thats it. I cant progress or anything.
Leading Velentius to great hall After you talk to Velentius you need to talk to the Blacksmith again. Velentius will follow you both then.
Please change quest screen text box to be darker so that the text is legible. While text on basically white background is just ridiculous. Also dialogue text is waaay too small...plenty of room to make it 2 times the size. There ae plenty of other issues but these really ruin the game for me. Btw, look at your own screen shots in this thread, hard to read in cases where the background is light. just add a dark semitransparent box behind it.
