I have a sneaking suspicion it's my slow coordination skills that are making it more of a struggle to get a handle on the controls. I'll try your tips and hopefully I'll improve. Up to 220m and just unlocked the ninja... is it just a costume unlock, or can he throw ninja stars to kill those darn birds in his way? Will the zombie drop slower, perhaps make it easer to move? frostypopcorps, looks like you may be right about the random movement. When i tap very quickly L or R using both thumbs, i find Walter's movement is very smooth/fluid. But it's when i tap multiple times very quickly using just one thumb L, L, L, L, that's when he seems to move randomly. Appreciate the tip, hugging the edge does help, but it doesn't make it any easier. LOL
They generally react the same, but because of slightly different sizes or shapes, some are better that doing stuff than others. The dog is great for getting diamonds because he is wider than taller, for example.
That, right there, is motivation for me to improve my skills! Too bad for me that my best score is nowhere near triple digits . Something to look forward to, though.
You can continue from where you are for 20 diamonds, so get as many as you can. And I believe you can get "Free" diamonds for watch videos. Get them while you can, because I believe the exchange will go down quite a bit after launch. Cheers!
I've been improving my score thanks to your helpful tips! I have run into a couple of issues but not sure if it's my phone or a glitch in the game. The first issue, I was using the zombie and tapped right but it went left each time I tapped right. When I switched back to Walter, there was no issue with the controls any time thereafter, or even when switching back to the zombie. So that was a one time occurrence. The other issue I have occurs a few times while in the "Unlock" menu. I will try to tap on any of the characters to select them but nothing happens. It's almost as if the screen is frozen, but I can hit the back button to play again. When this happens, I have tried exiting out of the game and rebooting it but that doesn't help. Restarting my phone and then opening the game again seems to do the trick. Other than those two glitches, I'm having a lot of fun with the game. The more you play, the better you get. I'm starting to catch myself humming Walter's theme music! Also, I love using Gary for collecting diamonds. Thanks, frostypopcorps, for a great game!
Tried playing a few times today and restarting the phone no longer works with "unsticking" the "Unlock" menu. Tapping any of the characters or the watch video selection does nothing. The only thing I can successfully tap is to go back to play. Any tips? Thanks.
What device and IOS version are you using please? I'll forward these issues to development team; we haven't come across any of these issues in testing, yet.
I have an iPhone 6 Plus on iOS 8.2. The freezing has happened only a handful of times and very randomly. When I played today, there were no issues with the menu sticking. Yesterday, I couldn't change from the zombie to any other characters even after restarting my phone. Works fine today, so I'm happy. Thanks for taking my feedback into consideration.
