Yeah, this seems to be the exact case. The single player campaign appears to save your position and drops with no internet. However a lot of things simply will not work if the game cannot connect to the servers, such as Summoning, power up, evolution, etc. So you could probably continue the game for a short period of time with no internet (train trip for example) but you are definately going to need to go online at some stage. A question: I am getting gold coin drops but cannot see anywhere to spend them. Perhaps I’m too early into the game maybe?
wow, this game is fantastic!!! i've completed chapter 1 and the main screen is totally changed, now i have a lot of extra options like next chapter, PVP, training arena, special missions to grow up characters, news, etc, plus my main 4 characters waiting in a hall as an awesome background... what a pleasant suprise!
I hope the game doesnt make the single player drastically harder as you progress so you're either forced to summon some good monsters or do endless grinds...
I got to spend a few more hours with this game and it's absolutely incredible. The gameplay and strategy in battles is fantastic. Once you unlock the "events" option, try out the dojo training levels. They're super fun - basically battle puzzles. Finding the correct answer to each battle is more fun than I thought and if you get stuck there's Youtube. The work made to design those training stages is pretty incredible since you need to do the exact moves to win. Also, this is a great spot to see a bunch of the high tier units and their super power skills / synergy. There are sleep / poison / burn teams that all work incredibly well. The more I play this game the more I'm loving it. I also agree the main screen with your party looks really awesome. I made a guild called Chaldea that (code KPFJQ6) for fun that references the Fate series I love. I'm not really sure how far this will go since I've already seen people with maxed out SSR units and weapons, rank 50+. Also real time PVP probably doesn't have enough people and matched me with an opponent who just used "attack all" 3 turns in a row once the battle started and wiped my entire team in one shot -_-

I hope u guys made use of the downtime free 500 to pull a ssr unit not equipment before proceeding.. Else u just be wasting time. This game is heavily in Gacha with low chance of getting ssr units. I don't even know if u catch all the uniques and with the SR u gotten in the beginning can let u complete act 2. Without some serious grinding. Good luck to everyone who is playing. This game is not a rpg game but more towards strategy.
