Yes-it will support the older 2G devices. Granted, its gonna look a little sweeter on a newer device.
I am planning to buy revolt when it is out and I will let you know. So ... Wait with me till it is released!
I beta-tested both, and the two are actually fairly different. Revolt is more storyline-based, and it has a very robust robust weapon/armor upgrade system. This game has a lot more more modes and more weapons but does not have a storyline-based campaign mode. I can go into greater detail about both if you have any specific questions, but both are worth buying.

I don't know how I missed this but I'm here now and this game looks like a dream! Any info on when you might be shooting for a release.
The launch is not far away at all. Beta testing is wrapped up and finishing touches and tweaks are being applied as we speak. There isn't an official target date, however, but its launch criteria is its gotta be sweet and its gotta be solid.
