Um, the first Epoch went on sale within a month so I guess history has a way of fading. You all bought this even though. If you check Epoch 1's sale history it goes on sale more often than China has babies so I don't really understand the shock and awe. The precedent has already been set.
This game demolishes my phone battery. I played one mission on normal and my phone is hotter than the sun and 10% was eaten up.
NO!!! It's an $8 which is currently one of the highest-selling paid apps around the world...it has no need...and it never should go on sale
Not that I agree with the sale, but looking at the charts, even being prominent with Apple's Editor's Choice, the game has been dropping pretty quickly down the charts -- already at #65. Meanwhile, Oceanhorn at a higher price is at #16. Still think they should have waited. Four days after release and being a high profile game regardless of chart position - it does look bad.
Well, good or bad - bought full price on the instant of its release. Really great game. Buy it on sale if you have a limited budget, then enjoy it too.
I think they didn't do enough on Advertising for this game. Original Epoch was a great experience, i played it over and over and i believed i got it for free. Good game like this get price slash and crappy games like the angry bird series stays at 2.99 for ipad for like forever and on the top chart all the time???? Something wrong with mobile gamers.
It was a steal at the $6 price and even more of a steal now. I just feel bad for the devs because this deserves to be a $6 game. Even a $10 game

All this offering of goods at prices that consumers are willing to pay makes my blood boil. Especially at department stores!
I am not a fanboy at all and please don't be childish and start directing (false) personal attack, because you think you wasted your $3. I seriously wanted to see you barging in and complain to jewellery/ antique watch/ etc. (you get the idea) store if they used this marketing tactics.
Sorry, but this IS bs. You can't cut the price so soon after launch like that. It's a total burn. I'd understand 6 months down the road, hell even 1-2 months, less than a week afterwards is downright manipulation. Anyone who says otherwise either didn't buy it yet, or they're logic is flawed and they have an unlimited gaming budget. Limited time sale or not, this is bs.
