That's about right. I keep the base item I want with 2 of the 3 elements on it. Then I toss it into the forge with the 3rd element needed to craft the item. Honestly, this isn't an efficient system since elemental gear gets harder to come by as you complete dungeons. I just focus on Titans/PvP that have a 3 element item as the 5% reward to ensure I get it. That seems way easier than trying to craft a 3 element item. I just use the forge to make 2 element epics right now. Chests are another decent way to get elements but now that I have completed most areas to dungeon level 5 chests to trade with friends are getting harder to find too. I have to keep a list of who I owe chests to now. It would be nice to get chests as rewards for PvP/Titans as well to trade with friends.
Man, this game really knows how to sink it's hooks. I didn't like it at first, and I'm still not even sure... but can't stop logging in to check on my little adventuring dudes. The Widget function for ios8 is a pretty neat little tool. Anyway... I'd love to be able to check on my characters' stats even when they are in battle. This morning, I pulled an Epic (Maul I think) from a GC friend's gift chest and "poof"... gone. I thought maybe I had too many items and it went in my Treasury but nope. I sent a ticket to support. Not the end of the world as I can craft an epic eventually, but kind of a bum deal.
I don't think so bro ! I tried fighting after losing to the same person .. I got the first turn the next turn and following one too ! Just really confused about the way things work in the arena haaah !
I had that happen once too. Fought the same person 3 times in a row and the third fight I lost. Must have some RNG tossed in there for good measure, ha.
Yeah, it's basically a coin flip. Or more like a dice roll in which you can load the dice a bit by matching the right stat values with the current arena challenge. So even if you have better stats than your opponent, there is still a chance to lose. That's been my experience, at least.
So the faction wars are a little uneven. If it's lightning, cold, or fire versus any of the other ones, the former ones will always win. For example, right now it's lightning (honor) versus plant (fame). Since there is no competition for fame in the game, it is more beneficial to choose lightning. Anyone who chooses plant and loses will be at a disadvantage in the arena for a week, where as anyone who chooses lightning and loses will not be at any real disadvantage. Therefore, lightning is the better choice and only new players just starting out will choose plant. So the three elements that give honor, arena strength, and titan damage (lighting, fire, and cold) will always trump the others. This makes the faction was outcomes completely predictable. The only time it would be so predictable is if it were fire, lightning, and cold versus each other, or earth, water, and air versus each other. Any faction war were it's one competitive element (fire, cold, lightning) versus a non-competitive element (water, air, earth) is no competition.
They seriously need to make elemental items drop in their respective dungeons.. I mean it shouldnt be that common but at least give like a chance to get it. Once you reach lv 4-5+ on a dungeon, it becomes difficult to get chests. Couple that with the fact that sometimes youll get uncommon or rare chests (both useless and not worth the diamonds) and you lose a lot of chances. ????? (Dont know name yet) Scythe Water / Lightning If anybody wants to try that. It looks real good considering the base scythe is 300 attack 50 magic 50 defense
If you add them through Game Center they will show up automatically the next time you log into Epic Island.
I'm loving "Epic island" so far, but i seem to be hitting a snag: i'm not getting enough chests to gift to the people on my friend-list. I have a few chests in the treasury that i can't afford to open: an epic air chest for 500 gems and a bunch of assorted uncommon chests (150 to 200 gems, expensive for the meh loot inside them), all in all i feel that the difficulty in getting chests to hand out (especially when somebody focuses on titans for a day or two) kind of works counter to the social aspect of the whole "give something to other players"-deal Might i suggest either removing the limit on gift-able chests outright (with maybe a nerf to the contents), or making them drop off monster kills as well, so it's easier to stock up on chests for those titan-fighting sprees.
This should actually be a free gift chest to each friend every 24 hours imo, the same way a lot of other games do it. But yeah I agree, if they dont do that then they should at least make it so that we get them easier. Once you reach level 4+ on dungeons it gets tough to reach the next level. They also need to make it easier to get elemental items because just like before its hard to get them once youre 4+ because the chests slow down. Elemental items should drop in dungeons sometimes
What an awesome game, and thanks Sushi and contributors for the epic list. Would it be too much trouble to add in the stats as well? Oh, and I hope the dev notices that titan with 50 billion hp. That was the easiest way to farm elementals -___- And if I may ask, will pets be getting stats resets as well? Actually need that more than the character reset haha
Rare drop in the Water and Lightning zones I do believe. Backflip is really good about seasonal events so I wouldn't be surprised to see a Halloween Titan/event starting soon.
Looking for more friends, have more chests left but would appreciate some in return. GC. Is milfinator112
