I believe the red dot indicates that that player has used faction points for the 25% Arena Strength Potion. I've also seen the red swirly dot more rarely, which I'm assuming is the 100% Arena Strength Potion.
More on Faction Armor I posted this on another forum, but I believe it to be true: Each upgrade you get 11.5 to ALL stats (You get 11 and 12 alternating levels) and 1% Faction Points. With that in mind I can guesstimate the max lvl stats for these items, assuming that there is a 30 level cap on them and they continue at the current upgrade rate. Lvl 30 Armor - 333 Attack, 403 Defense, 333 Magic, 49% Faction Points Lvl 30 Helmet - 358 Attack, 358 Defense, 358 Magic, 49% Faction Points Lvl 30 Shield - 353 Attack, 343 Defense, 353 Magic, 49% Faction Points Lvl 30 Weapon - 358 Attack, 328 Defense, 363 Magic, 49% Faction Points TOTAL: 1402 Attack, 1432 Defense, 1407 Magic, +196% Faction Points These stats coupled with a characters base stats makes me think that this will be VERY powerful, but only with a huge Faction Point OR Gem investment. That being said, I believe there is currently an issue with how the Faction Points are calculated for characters wearing the Faction Armor in the Arena. Last round, I had my character in the Arena with 128% Faction Points and he was receiving 120FP per victory. My current character in the Arena is not wearing faction armor, and is gaining the same amount of FP per victory. Game Center: DrSmudge
Ugh. Been trying to forge the dragon battle armor for days. No such luck. Goodbye elemental item fodder. I haven't actually gotten any faction items yet. Do they help in any way? I always end up in the top 5% of my faction just from regular playing. Though I did splurge on a +honor potion for the 1k gems arena prize. 500 gems away from my 5th hero! Running out of chests to gift, but if you guys are still looking for friends, IGN: ninaneens. Edited to add: Since I was curious, I bought a faction helmet and upgraded it to level 17. Will check if it does add to faction point gain, Sludge.
Some information I've played this game for a week, and it is really awesome!!! Now I reach wind area and find it getting harder to level up. So I look back some previous dungeon and find that their exp/time are higher!!! I think if with fame potions it will be a greater way to farm in previous dungeon~ My game center ID: jcepicisland Let's play epic island together and find more fun
Arena, I think. I've gotten up to 120 faction points per fight. Haven't been paying attention to how much fighting titans gives. I've got two guys on them now. I'll get back to you after an hour and a half.
There are dungeons that gives the same or higher fame with lesser time on previous dungeons. If I want to farm fame, I can probably do what you suggested. But I still prefer newer dungeons because they offer newer and stronger weapons for more epic awesomeness.
Okay, a 2-hour titan fight gives 120 faction points for my guys. Don't think it's tied to stats or levels.
Has anyone managed to forge a duplicate epic? I managed to get the epic dagger from a Titan battle and have been trying to forge a 2nd one. I've leveled the dagger from 1 to 30 twice over now and still no joy. I even feed to leveled items to increase the chance of an epic. The epic staff and orb on the other hand came out by the time I leveled the items to about level 10. Am I just tossing items at the dagger for nothing or just a victim of the RNG gods?
I haven't really tried, but will try now. I do have 2x of the Dragon Lords armor, but I got both of them from chests... Will report back.
I don't think there's any rule where you can't forge duplicate epics, since I have 3 of some epics. It's possible that you just have had bad luck in forging it. I have forged no epics around level 10, all have been within the level 30 range staring at level 1. You're likely just a victim of the RNG gods.
Why why would you forge a dagger to 30 twice? Just keep feeding items to the level 30 dagger. I've evolved a level 30 weapon into an epic before. And it's all luck based. 2 days ago, I got a new hero so I started forging gear for him. When combining elements to the proper items, I ended up getting the epic tome just in the first forge to get the elements onto the tome. Whereas his armor took until a couple forges after level 30. It's all luck.
I've feed the dagger enough to have made it to 30 twice. As for why would I want a 2nd epic dagger? It happen to be the only epic I could forge at the time. I've since made other epics. I feel too invested in making another epic dagger to feed it to something else is all. It is good to know someone has 3 of the same epic. Although were the 3 forged or did you happen to win them?
Yes it is I just got my fifth hero for 2.5k gems a couple minutes ago On another note, is it confirmed that leveling an item to 30 while adding necessary elements to forge into an epic increases its chance on the first forge? Because I have dragon armor with fire/wind and I want to know if it's worth leveling to 30 before throwing earth into it
Yeah, the higher an item's level is, the better the odds to craft as an epic are. Once you toss the earth in and hit forge, you're going to get either the epic, or a dragon armor with 2 of the three elements it was crafted with. Whichever element that doesn't make it in (if it doesn't turn into the epic) will be gone, so you'll have to add that element in again. That's the pain of crafting the three-element epics, which is why I'm saving them for last and getting any three-element I see from titans/arena.
1000 gems or 250 gems? prev msg deleted I have had successfully forged epic at as low as around item lv13, but also had one epic forge around 20th try after reaching lv30. Like arena battles the RNG is strong
I have my 4th too. Each hero is another source of gold and item fodder income. IMO a much better and safer investment than risking with most chests.
Forged 3 Stonewalls to test. I got all 3 at varying levels, so RNGesus influence confirmed. Would be poor design to limit players to one of each epic item anyway. Next up: maxing faction items. Edited to add: items for the list. Reaper of Souls - 1200 Attack, 200 Defense, 400 Magic Hero's Testament - 300 Attack, 300 Defense, 300 Magic
