I can show you a screen shot of Enviro-bear on my iPod if you like... of the several hundred apps I've downloaded by now, it is one of the few which I've deemed worthy enough to stay. It's not just there for the lolz either, none of my friends have iPhones and neither have they heard of Enviro-bear, so I have no reason whatsoever to keep it on my device other than to play it. Though I will admit one thing... there are some people who think that those of us who like the game are joking, so they start joking too. Then they start their own Enviro-bear joke topics "because it's cool/funny" totally unaware that it wasn't really a joke to begin with.
Look, I never said Enviro-bear was a bad app. I had it on my iPhone too and it was one of the most creative apps I've ever seen. But comparing it with the top 3D games, especially ones that revolutionized certain genres on the iPhone or other platforms? That is going too far. Enviro-bear is an indie-developed app with lots of creativity and humour, but it's not in the same league as games by big companies, that's common sense. I never saw comparisons made between Doodle Jump and let's say Resident Evil 4, and I'm sure Doodle Jump received just as much possibly more praise than Enviro-bear.
To be honest, the reasons you're using to argue your point are the exact reasons I'd for vote it over other games. I can't stand 99% of the stuff rushed out by EA or Gameloft, mainly because they're all watered down versions of games I've played a lot before. I'd chose something quirky and imaginative over a boring ol' clone any day, originality draws me in. That's in comparison to other iPhone games anyway, if we're comparing it to RE4 on the GC/PS2/Wii I'd choose RE4 in an instant.
wtf i bought enviro game because i thought you guys were all serious about how good it was until i bought it and realized it was pretty bad thanks alot guys
Wait you literally meant for people to go see a... Humour therapist? If you didn't know, there's no such thing as a humour therapist. I just found it amusing that you of all people would suggest another to take humor lessons.
Not my cup of tea. Tried it/played it/ got boring after 5 minutes. But then again, i dont like racers or driving games to start with. very well-made though.
Enviro-bear was fun, for like 3 minutes then i beat the game. Guess what, exact same thing the next time I tried it. I dont see how anyone can believe this dumb game is better then MW2
Enviro bear was the reason I updated my iPod to OS to 3.0, remember it was originally a 3.0 exclusive
