I'm looking forward to a smooth running multiplayer, intuitive controls, and some pretty banging graphics.
I look foward to turning on my ipod touch and seeing the icon for iMech just sitting there ready for me to play. And when I press that icon being immersed in a game, a game unlike anyother the app store has ever seen. One with responsive controls. With graphics that could compete with any console on the market. And with multiplayer to end all multiplayer, 100% lag-free. A game that will leave me in aww whenever i play it. Which will be a lot.
Ktcf11, you brought up a good point regarding lag-free play. We as developers can only go so far to ensure our network engine provide the smoothest online experience but ultimately it's up to the user to make sure they're playing on a good network connection. Things like playing while 2 stories below your wireless access point or having 10 simultaneous torrents seeding at full speed or trying to play while in the subway will guarantee a laggy experience. Apply some good common sense and iMech online will rockkkkkk. -Randy of FD iMech Official Website
any news on the approval yet? do you have an ESTIMATED date? (i promise if you give one i wont hold you to it!) lol
From our previous experience it's about 5-7 biz days but that all depends on the length of the queue plus since our game has online features it might be under heavier scrutiny. We're just as anxious as you guys -Randy of FD iMech Official Website
I look forward to seeing who wins the promo codes... good luck sorting through 11 pages of responses. Anyways... online multi-player is the foundation of my love for videogames - there are a bunch of fun time wasters on the iDevice... but this could top them all if it is well executed. Thanks.
Mainly looking forward to it because large robots that you can touch to do things for you usually results in something very interesting.
