just reviewed free version as turtletube in US store. Should be seen a few hours later.

First, sound and graphic is good. played a few times and the game is grabbing my attention thoroughly.

well, the control of my craft is not very smooth and accurate. especially, when my finger left the screen, I don't know how, but the craft always shifts a little bit to the original position. Also, after my craft is up to the front to shooting opponents, I wanna pull back its position to gain some moving spacing. the pull-back action reacts slowly.

I am not very good at this type of game. I am always wondering if it's possible to have some more HP generator to gain during the game. Die too fast, lol. I am not able to live long enough to beat the big one at stage 3.

my suggestion:

from my playing experience, some HP generator would be lovely. Always buying from store or spend actual money to purchase coin will decrease my interest to go further with the game.

movement and reaction of the game would be improved further. Right now, it is not very accurate and reacts timely, smoothly.

Endless War is a pretty decent shooter game. What really stood out for me in this game were the graphics and background music. They were really unique and fit in perfectly with the atmosphere and environment of the game. I liked the leveling up system for your various firearms.

However, that being said, there are a few recommendations that I would give to the developer of this app. The most important one is to add gyroscope controls as a control option. I think that many if not most gamers favor the gyroscope control system. Another minor recommendation that I would make is to add a brief tutorial to explain the objective of the game and to explain the various power ups.

I would recommend Endless War to all those who like shooters and are looking for something new to pick up. This app is a great game to pick up, especially for free.

just finished playing this one for about 30mins..and I'm loving it!!! the graphics is smooth and great but i think the sound is not in my taste althoug other's like it..it definitely needs improvement..lots of improvements and additions..i'll make a list:

1. first of all it needs UNIVERSAL support..this game needs to be played in my iPad!!! Seriously!
2. playing this game needs coin to go further..and im not that rich to buy coins..so what I'm suggesting is that when our ships blow/explode, can we retain at least 50% of coin we collected before we exploded? i can't even play the game..i'm stuck at stage 2..hahaha
3. it needs power ups..well specifically HP power ups..because the upgrade system is a great idea..no need to rush to a bullet hell to get a power up e.g. missile power up.
4. why don't you add a challenge mode? well you can think of a lot of challenges...right?
5. oh endless mode would also be good for this game..it can utilize the ranking system very well.
6. how about a "twin drive system" (i don't know how to call it)..this system can summon another ship to fight side by side (imagine "twin bee") at the expense of the ship's HP..good risk right? Higher firepower but low evasion rate. BOOM!
7. tilt control!! it needs tilt control..my fingers too big and i can't see the bullets sometimes.
8. and maybe you can add the "bullet time system" where enemies' (including the bosses) bullets will move on a slow motion for a set of time..maybe 10 sec or 20 seconds max.

well..that's all..i don't know if you can implement it all..but hey..if that happens..this app will be the best shooter i've played in the ios!!!

In overall view, it's a good game. However when you try to dissect it by comparing it with your ideal options or features of best shooting game you've ever played, Endless War still lose out in minor areas.

First of all, players should have been given choices to control the air craft via tilting or manual control by hand.
In my opinion, by using manual hand control, once I've moved forward, the thumb wil be blocking position and movement of bullet
I've avoided. This forced player to move forward as backing off is not an option without a clear view of the obstacles behind the aircraft. This
would pose more problem to players with big thumbs

Secondly, I would like to see developer add a progress bar feature, so that players are aware of their progression (how close are they to the ending point or boss fight). This can help players who are lack of free time to pause it if they're far away from ending point or encourage them to finish it through as it is very close to the end.

Besides this, potion & other items positioning are awkward. Especially when you're moving the aircraft to the right. I suggest that these items can be move to the top left corner and right corner. The space in the middle is reserved for the progress bar mentioned earlier.

Lastly, the background music seems to be not in place with this game. I found it a little bit too relax and soothing. It would help if developer can try to change the music that can cause players to have adrenaline rush especially in tight situation.

Pretty Decent Shooter Game

This shooter game has nice graphic design and music. The game definitely has a solid game play. It never crashes or lags even the screen is filled with dazzling graphics. The game control is precise and smooth. It's very intuitive to move the ship like this way. The game is easy for beginners but can be challenging if you get deeper into this. You can use coins to upgrade your ship. I can't wait to brag my ship to my friends!

My suggestions:

1. First of all, the game has great sound effects and so it's a shame if you don't put on your headphones. I'd suggest while the app is loading, it can display a notice to players that they should really put on their headphones. So none of us would miss the gun fires and blood pumping music! (I find it also lacks a on/off button for the background music, the lowest volume isn't silent.)

2. This glorious game will deserve more glory on the iPad. This game needs universal support. It will look amazing on the Retina display.

3. I am a bit disappointed when I didn't see this game on Game Center. I love Game Center and I think developers should embrace it too. Game Center will bring more sales, since players like to brag about their skills and achievements in the game and more players will buy and play the game. (At least I do. It's great way to start a conversation, isn't it?) And please think of some awesome achievement and keep us interested!

4.The icon of the app seems generic and I think it needs some tweaking. The "EW" is too small and it is hard to make out what is on the icon on your iDevice. I think it needs to be more memorable. My suggestion is to make the "EW" bigger, with a flare on top of it, and the background is the surface of a planet scattered with gun fires, and no spaceship. However, this is a question of aesthetics and it's only my opinion.

5. The touch-and-drag game control of this app is unique. Unlike most tilt-left-and-right game, the spaceship doesn't have to be always aligned to the bottom of the screen, it will follow your finger to every corner of the screen. The problem is that the iPhone screen is not very big. I hope I can change control in option and I suggest that it should add two more control modes, virtual d-pad and tilt. The d-pad may not sound as cool as the current more intuitive control, but it's more accurate and I think die-hard fans will love it. Tilt is cool but I'm afraid it will make the game too difficult (left, right, top, bottom), but it's cool and some fans may love it. So please make three modes of game control.

6. The game will be more fun if it gets more social elements. Since it allows you to upgrade and customize your ship. I think it will gets more attention if it allow players to send a picture of their newly bulit ship to Facebook, Twitter, or just email it to their friends.

7. There definitely needs to be some pick-up items like HP and coins in the game. And I hope the story can be shown before I enter into the battle, it will be a nice bonus.

8. Please do not use pop-up dialog box in a game. (Pause screen, I'm looking at you.)

9. Typographical error. I think I saw "Touch & Drage" instead of "Touch & Drag" in the App Store screenshots. And when I saw Korean text in the Item Shop, It is kind of weird.

10. I'm thinking about adding a multiplayer mode into this game. Think about it, even a simple head-to-head to see who scores higher will be sensational. Or you can add some multiplayer mission achievements in this game, so players will play at the same stage and achieve their goal together. I'm also thinking about a deeper Game Center implementation, Tiny Tower has a wonderful system to visit your GC friend's tower, so you know what's going on there. I suggest in this game, that we could have a similar system so we can visit what kinds of good spaceship my friends just got. That would be super cool!
