WOW. Im addicted to the game ,but I am really lousy at it. Can we have an easy mode in a future update? Thanks
New update is live! As suggested by the community, I've added a single IAP to remove ads, and improved the granularity of control options. Please let me know if the sensitivity options work well on your device (I've only got a Retina iPad Mini to test on). Next updates will address the problem i've noticed with the game getting repetitive - So I'll be adding some new enemies but more importantly I will be adding bosses! I'm also working on a new set of items to unlock (I call them perks) that range from common to rare which will give you special abilities in the game. Don't worry though, I'll be doing my best to keep the game balanced. Hope you guys enjoy the new features. Sorry there isn't more content in this one.
I have been fooling around with this game for days, very happy with most of the gameplay elements, with the exception of the placement of two triggers in each corner. The update that you pushed out today, completely fixed this and made this game so much more pliable for me! I am using the second control style and I absolutely love it. I am more than happy to be able to support the developer with the remove ads option for $.99. This is a great retro pixel style sniper game! If you're on the fence, download it for free and you will see how great it is! Then support the developer for his great work.
YES! Dev you did it! It's effing perfect! No ads purchased! Sensitivity options have made the gameplay vastly improved! Really really really fun! Thank you so much for listening to feedback and for making such a fun game! I've updated my AppStore review. Everyone should do that Thank you! Billy
I tried it. Can't say is my game... The endless nature imho is not totally satisfaying in this title. Level based, and without those ninjias it would have been much better imho... The rest of The gameplay is pretty good indeed. For me is Two stars and uninstalling. See you next time ;-)
Got the IAP, thanks! At 1 I can't be wrong the game still crashes when clicking on the share button that you find when you finish a game. +1 to the bosses. Aside from this in the endless randomized mode, what about a story mode as in Operation Wolf? Aliens have invaded Earth, they have allied with the ninjas and the infantry, and the player is the only hope of the world... Or something like that I also insist in adding different colour palettes: sunset, night, stormy (with lightning and Thunder), etc. I think that all these ideas would add a lot of value to the game, which is very enjoyable as it is, mind. Someone also suggested setting the shooting to a two-finger on screen, instead of having buttons. That would possibly work great. EDIT: saw this control option is already implemented Anyway, keep up the great work Hey, what's wrong with the ninjas? I love when I miss killing them and they fly, and I have to be expectant to shoot them down when they fall. As for the level-based, I think that the income of bosses in future updates will fit perfectly to what you suggest, but I'd keep the randomized endless mode.
Couldn't say it any better than LS. Love the controls and insta-bought the ad remove. Cheers, great work!
Thank you for the kind words my friends I totally missed that share button when the game ends! Thanks for the catch! I agree with the environmental palettes (rain, sunset, snow, etc) I will make it a definite feature with the next update. I'll keep you guys informed with when the update goes live. You're all legends.
Terrible excuse for a 2 star rating... "Rest of gameplay is pretty good indeed"... But I'll give 2 stars because I don't like ninjas. smh
I'll try to explain it better: the core mechanics are good indeed, but it's just not enough rewarding for me. Let's try to compare this to other endless runners: Punch Quest, probably one of the Best endless that has been made in this world. In PQ also if you don't have any friends, you got missions to complete, achievements to get, that are just what a game like this needs to have (if you don't want to go to a level based type). Punch Quest let's you play longer runs and doesn't have the insta-kill ninjias, but they aren't the only motivation for my rating. Another example could be another game that I played tonight: Top Tank. I rewarded Top Tank with a 4 stars review because is an endless shooter with achievements and NO ADS from the beninning. I know that ADS needs to support the dev, but in this case with Endless Sniper, I don't feel like to purchase it and neither to play it in this state. Then I could mention Ramboat, endless shooter, with missions, upgradable weapons, and if I remember well no ADS from the beginning. In my optical that is a better game than this, also if much less people played it. And I could go on more... Anyway, like I said, keep up the good work dev. I'm glad that this game is satisfaing for so many people, seriously. See ya next time ;-)
Thanks for the honesty, mate You're right, it's far from perfect. There's a lot I can add to the game to make it more satisfying which I have been currently working on. I hope the next update addresses your critiques with regard to its ability to keep you coming back for more (achievements are on the list).
Totally disagree that this game needs any achievements or even missions. That stuff really adds nothing to the fun for me. This is a nice, simple high score chaser. It doesn't really need to be more than that...good game play with various enemies to shoot to try and beat your high score. Classic...
