So somewhat of a random question: Does "Hills and Rivers Remain" work on modern devices? IE, am I going to waste a buck trying to play it on a 6+? For the games on sale that are quite old, is there space to say how the run on modern devices? ChronoTrigger is another one I'm curious about.
I think it would be asking too much of Hoggy to add that sort of info with this many games. The forum threads for those games might have answers though. I think Chrono Trigger should be OK. Sqeenix can be slow to update their apps, but they usually flag any that don't work yet on the latest hardware in their app descriptions. Edit: Hills ans Rivers Remain has a lite version, so you can try it out on 6+ before you buy.
Thanks for the round-up, Hoggy. I've been picking up quite a few of these that I've had my eye on. Should have gotten a 128GB! D:
I'm already running out of room on my 128 GB phone after having an 8 GB. Talk about first world problems.
Oh i wasn't expecting the OP to. Just hoping if anyone played that they could post impressions. I check the original game thread first and it hasn't been updated in years and I'm leery to do it after seeing one review from 2013 on the store mentioning a bug that limits progress after a certain point.
A head's up to anyone who's interested, and to Hoggy of course; Stone Age is no longer on sale, it's back up to $6.99, and... Space Hulk (iPad only) just went on sale for $2.99, down from the usual $9.99
You can add the great Hey! That is my fish! board game to the list https://twitter.com/FFGsoftware/status/545926091987484672
Got FF6, FFT, and Dragon Quest 8. Hopefully, these games will keep be satisfied during my winter break.
