There's a lot of bad rap around F2P due to some games abusing the model unfairly. But Eminence can be enjoyed equally without spending anything. We follow the same format as every other TCG where cards can additionally be purchased through packs. However, they can also be gained through the story mode, pvp, tournaments etc. Players therefore wouldn't need to spend a penny.
This game had me very intrigued, and it looks freakin gorgeous. I am not scared by f2p. Hearthstone is that way and NO ONE is complaining. Are you able to discuss gameplay? Do the numbers on the sides reflect how powerful a card is? Is their a grid the cards are placed on with the higher adjecent number winning out? Just curious as I certainly have this on my watch list. Thanks for listening! Rob Lennon
Hello Rob, thank you for your compliments! You are spot on, the core features of the card battle system are as follows: - Eminence is played on a 3x3 grid - Each card has four numbers which represents the strength of that side of the card - Cards have two colours (players and opponents card) - Both players are dealt five cards from their deck. - The player who wins a coin flip may choose to place a card anywhere on the grid. After first card is played, the opposing player can play a card in any unoccupied space on the grid, this alternates until there are no more spaces to be occupied.
