This game is nothing like Baldurs Gate. Please do yourself a favor and go over to Steam and see what the game is all about. The game has combat that you can pause at any time and use skills and items such as healing potions. You cannot change weapons in combat mode.
I've followed your advice, you're right, thanks With so many users complaining about crashes, and with this combat system I'm not sure I would like, I'll wait a bit more before buying it
Any iPhone SE users here? Is it crashing too on iOS 10? Edit Or anyone have played it successfully on iOS 10?
As far as I know the combat in those old RPG's like Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale is realtime partybased pausable. You pause when you want to use spells and potions. So I hope the gameplay is a bit like those old games. Haven't been able to compare because game is crashing at start up.
Tried this on iPad Pro and iPhone 6s+ on iOS 10 and have crash problem. Also copied a saved game from an iPad running iOS 9.xx to my iPhone on iOS 10 and still now working (although it lets me load the saved game) Will continue to investigate.... cheers!
Stupid question, but how do you use a bedroll? And is it something I should have found before the first boss battle? I also am usure about skills as I don't appear to have any. Do you have to be level 2 perhaps to unlock them?
I have an iPad Pro 12.9" and it plays great. It might be a iOS 10 problem as I have 9.3.3 and have only had one crash that did not repeat itself.
The bedroll is something you should find during the tutorial section of the game. Cant remember if it is before the first boss, but even if you miss it you can buy it from a merchant. I put the bedroll into one of my quick slots as it is something that you will use a lot. You get skills from some special items (weapons and armour) that are either dropped from enemies or you can buy from a merchant. You will then see the skills appear under your health and mana bars.
Cant anyone fill me in on battery drainage? Will definitely buy if its as nice as baldurs gate, with 10-20% per hour, but as long as i dont know im hesistant, though this game looks right up my alley

iPhone 6+ iOS 10. No crashes at all. Love how accessible this game is. Really is like torchlight and bg. Didn't play to much past the burrow.... wonder if loot is randomized or not.
Hopefully we can hear from the devs the game is beautiful just can't get past the cutscene. I wish I didn't upgrade my pro to iOS 10 I should have known better to have waited
