Because there are a lot of Youtube videos demoing iPhone Apps, I've added a youtube bbcode tag so you can embed them. You have to use the value from the youtube url. Original link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=_TWRFAVS5nY BBCode Example: [media=youtube]_TWRFAVS5nY[/media] arn
Embedded HD video Original Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLUPe7BH1C4 BBCode Example: [hdyoutube]FLUPe7BH1C4[/hdyoutube] Notes: 1. The low res youtube link is automatically included. 2. Please check the play back when posting the HD video. if it says "no longer available", then post the BB code for SD (low res) version instead. See above post by Arn. 3. The HD BB code allows for full screen playback (box in box icon at lower right) from within the post. THe SD BB code appears to require you to go to the youtube site for full screen playback Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
I have changed it for you. You almost did it correctly, only you left the "_" in when that shouldn't be there. Works now that's removed
Doesn't matter I know now. If you're on a mac all you have to do is go to the site and drag across the vid screen then copy and paste!
A lot easier on a Mac isn't it? I'm so glad I have one of these babies. People are so shocked when I show them how simple things are compared to XP or Vista.
How do i make a youtube comment video link? I've seen lots of people making these little blue links like this - 0:09 - but they are blue and underlined. When you press the link, it moves your youtube video to the spot that the numbers say in the video you are watching. So if it says 0:52 then it will go to the 52 second point in the video. Someone out there must know how to do this. ______________________ yahoo keyword tool ~ overture ~ traffic estimator ~ adwords traffic estimator
To do it in YouTube comments you just write the time, e.g. "1:28 is awesome" and it gets converted automatically. To link to a specific time from somewhere else you would add "#t=1m28s" the end of the URL. Changing the numbers to whichever time you want.
I love how this morning I was trying to write a review and it took me forever to add a youtube video, and now there's a nice thread about it. My google-fu must be weakening.
The BBcode posted here would not work- it is exclusive to internet forums and does not work in email. Instead, try the embed code you get from the button underneath a video (HTML format). It also depends on whether or not your recipient's email supports HTML code. Even then, some emails limit which HTML is allowed in messages.
