I don't mind friends playing with my iPod, and I freely disclose my code to unlock it. I don't, however, want them to have instant access to my email.
I'm wondering if there is an option to require a password to log in to my email account on the default iOS email program. And if not, are there other, more secure options?
    Any info would be welcome.
    Thanks,

Jailbreak and use lockdown pro. I'm sure you could find another email app as well. Or just hide your email app in a folder.

The only way to lockdown email is to turn off the account (not delete the account) in settings & turn off email in restrictions.

I totally agree. In fact I can not by a large base of this information must be for more than a very short time when to think at all will be saved. This is the one thing that keep me from now with Boxcar.

    Thanks for the responses, everyone.
ArcheAngel's method seems to be solid. Kind of a pain, but effective.
    Much appreciated.
