It has been about a week now that the Eliminate Wikia has been started so far, we have made several quality pages, but there remains one problem, we DO NOT have enough writers I AM NOT A GOOD PLAYER I am however, good at managing the site. In order to boost popularity, i want to submit this wiki as one of the spotlight articles. these requirements must be met The requestor should be either the admin, or link to a discussion with the admin of the wiki and agreeing to the spotlight. The wiki should have a logo. The main page of the wiki should have at least one picture, and clear links to the most important content. It should also be unprotected unless there is a strong history of vandalism. The wiki should have a clear category structure to help readers navigate around the site. Every content page should be in a category. The wiki should not be in the middle of choosing new admins, or any other upheavals; it should be a stable, friendly place. The wiki should not have a sitenotice longer than two lines. The wiki should be using the Wikia welcome tool, signed by admins -- (MediaWiki:Welcome-user should say @latest, @sysop or the name of an admin.) I know this is a lot, but I want to split the team into groups The Writers this may seem obvious, because it is The Graphic Artists these people will be in charge of acquiring pics for the site. I could do a bit of writing for the wiki. I've got a few ideas for topics to write about, including: - Tips for advancing in a free game, leveling up, optimizing credit earnings/usage and upgrade/purchase strategy. - A discussion of devolping a gear setup that is suitable for any possible matchup and the importance of doing so. - Control tips, and general game advice. - An intro to powercells. A look at what's the best value for money, and some general discussion of my experience using them. - Using the maps to your advantage: knowing the spawn points, "hidden" sniper points, choke points and the like. Maybe exploring the use of certain weapon strategies to make the most of a particular map? - A look at powerups, what they do how to adapt a strategy using them and how to deal with shield campers!
good point i think it would be cool to pretty much make the missing "instruction manuel" this way people could look at it instead of making TA threads
Hey Metro, how do you make a category? I realized there was no Damage Amplifier in the powerups section but I can't figure out how to make one. Tips? EDIT: Nevermind, found it.
