Thankfully jumping is in an awkward position on the screen, otherwise we'd have nothing but bunny hopping matches. Still happens a little though.
ugh +1. bunny hoppers are incredibly annoying. ive only fought like 2 bunnys tho, one of em must've been on crack cause he was non stop jumpin up n down i was like what da f__k
Sometimes my right thumb will slip while I'm aiming and I'll happen to jump. It saved me once, not even gunna lie!
Ha, that's pretty funny. I'm not anti jumping or anything, it'd be nice if it was in a better spot so you could utilize that strategy. But if it was, everyone would definitely non-stop jump all over the maps. It would be pretty annoying. On another note, I don't use auto-fire. It felt to me that it would interrupt my ability to double tap fire, so sometimes it would take 2 or 3 tries to continually fire when I chose to. But haven't used it since the first few games, so do you guys really swear by it? I don't wanna have it off in case I could be playin' better or something. I guess I'll try with it on for a while again, see if I'm diggin it.
Haha, I know right? And I've never played with the auto-fire. It seems like it helps a lot of people out though. I might give it a go...
Just get the Berserker Shield power up,u will turn blue and then just slam into someone, kills them instantly
I hate when people shield bash me! So annoying! My tips, upgrade as soon as you can! Plasma gun works great for me, but you have to upgrade it first! Keep moving, another good tip! Learn how to turn around quickly, as lots of people sneak up on you from behind.
Please clarify. Ran twice into players who have a red glow around the armour and are nearly impossible to kill. As far as I know, there's no perk that gives such a visual effect, but after shooting that person for 7-10 times with the plasma rifle in an almost melee range and dying from his blasts instead it makes me think there's something I'm simply not aware of.
I cannot answer that since I have no clue atm. But whatever that is, it seems like quite an overpowered effect since usually enemies die from 2-3 non-headshot hits from Plasma Rifle (merely upgraded) and here it was an ongoing battle lasting around 10 seconds. Nevertheless, don't think it's worth QQ'ing about I'll work my way around those guys.
+1 for auto-fire. though i wish there was a way to reload manually with auto-fire turned on. or i'm a moron, and you can already. and it'd be nice to stick with one weapon and just upgrade the crap out of it, but once you've upgraded all you can at your current level, there's still gonna be a couple levels left before the next round of weapon upgrades, and you need something else to fill the void. after getting pwned by anyone carrying the cannon in 3 matches straight, i bought one. upgraded damage, firing rate, and reload rate, but i haven't played with it yet. i need to get to work
Best thing for me: the months i trained for this playing ifps online while most people ignored it Now i find the controls super easy
Tip to n00bs Stop hiding in the corners with invisibility, Its the first place I shoot, then your just stuck =) Also, I've found that turning up the look speed and not continuously "looking" around helps too. Use light flicks to look, also strafing is your best friend.
That's the gore element of Eliminate. My tip is use the gravity hook to steal all those credits and power ups and then hide, see the stupid face and swap to plasma cannon to finish
