definitely. That makes a lot of sense. buying power cells is like buying snacks. You're gonna run out quick. If u pay for faster recharges it's more like buying something that ur not going to use up. Right now at this ridiculous price for such a little amount i wouldn't buy anything. If they make an option for faster upgrades i'd consider. But i also have to think about it. Eliminate doesn't really have that many weapons. Recharging would become irrelevant to me soon.
When I heard it was going to be 4x's faster to recharge I thought "Hurry someone break the controls on the main system so it will stay this way!!" Unfortunately, plus + has screwed something up with my account. It won't recognize my gamertag, password or even email attached to the account to reset passwords. They never respond to issues sent to their support department I hope all my progess in eliminate and the other ngmoco games I have are not deleted and lost! I actually paid $ for some cells in eliminate. I'm bummed and with no resolve or explanation to boot
Welcome to being screwed by ngmoco. Good stuff. I spent all my energy yesterday being put in matches where i was way overpowered by my opponents, i'm at level 20 and i was battling people at level 31-40. Luckily i didn't pay for the energy as the recharges were alot quicker, but still thats been the norm this whole week. I've wasted a ton of energy on bad matches this week. From being overmatched to only being in a match for 10 seconds and still being charged 1/3 of my energy bar. This game sucks thats all there is to it.
Just bought and installing MW2 on PC, Playing Eliminate in lunch time on working days, After work, play MW2 at home. What a busy gaming life
What, because I'm a girl I'm more likely to play Touchpets over Eliminate? Yes- I spent $20 on powercells for Eliminate... and not that it matters, but I don't have Touchpets
I really don't think he meant it like that... That "games that women love" thread is getting people all riled up for no reason imo. I think he was referring to the fact that $20 will go farther in Eliminate than it will in Touch Pets, from what I understand. Could be completely wrong (I played touch pets for 2 minutes and got bored of it) but it seems like the whole dog bowl issue is even more ridiculous than the Eliminate power cells situation.
Not coz you are a girl but coz I didn't think you'll be very good at eliminate. I myself am mediocre at it and won't be paying for energy cells as it won't do me much good IMO. The only reason Ill be paying anything to ngmoco is to thank them for Eliminate which I got for free and is the one game i've been playing and enjoying the most currently. Only waiting to see if they offer more for my money in the near future. The reference to touch pets was coz you said you paid 20 bucks and only got a couple of days worth of gameplay. Which would have been the case if you spent 20 on TPD but with eliminate offering you to play for free as long as u want, I think it's unfair to say it doesn't have any gameplay once you run out if credits. PS: I didn't even click once on the "Games girls play" thread as I didn't think there'd be anything interesting there for me. Looks like I might be wrong here. Gonna check out the thread now that I know there's been some drama there Three happy smileys to show I wasn't being sexist or any thing (Thats an extra fourth if three weren't good enough )
Two out of three energized games I played, I lost connection. No credits and loss of energy. Doesn't matter, at 1 hour refills it'll make it up.
Oh sweet, more time! I am loving this recharge time! I got eliminate Sunday evening, and moday I spent $21 on cells (2 $10 cases and a $1 pack) without even debate- because this game rocks and mgmoco deserves bank off this project. Having all this speedy recharge makes me feel I spent the money in the right place, because now they're scratching my back again. I very very rarely buy apps- but this one is worth the $20+ I put into it. I will hold off on more money until at least the second week of next month though to see if prices or recharge time drops.
After yesterday, i think i have to admit that i really am hooked on this game. I was in a match that was a war zone, with all hell breaking loose, and at the end I was so excited about it that i actually started laughing out loud when the scores came up.
