Solid point. I wish shields weren't in the game but as long as they are i'm inclined to grab it so no one else will at the least. Its still invulnerability. What i don't get is people who don't shoot at you while they have the shield but just chase ya around...
LOL - of course it was fun, it's Tank mo fo - that's what that map was created for: bashing! I don't care whether I win or lose in that map: it's just chaos. Anyway, I enjoyed gunning you down on some of the other maps we played. Add ephelant for some 1 v 1s - i'd like to know why you think you're so great.
has any1 realized that the constant bashers (at least ones reading this forum)only would want to bash ever more from your constant complaints? they already don't have the skill to beat people using just weapons, and from this lack they are drawn to the aggravation of others.. nothings going to stop all of them especially complaints. they just lol @ u.. for good reasons.. at least in their lacking minds and blahh blablalalbalhlah to any1 in response to this
Why on earth do you people assume that bashing and skill are mutually exclusive? Does it even occur to you that some bashers might just bash because it's fun?! On the one hand you say it's ok to bash if you're not in a 1v1 with a known non-basher, and then you get on this forum and start whinging about getting bashed. Grow the phuk up already. It's in the goddamn game for a reason.

How are you getting 212 with backgrounder? Just letting the second account sit there while you suicide the first account? Do you have to end the match any particular way? I was under the impression that only winning credits are doubled, so suiciding would result in no doubling of credits?
That's a fair point, but my post was only partially in response to yours. I only constantly bash in Tank because that's what the map was designed for. In other maps, it's just part of the repetoire. If you're implying I can't aim, well I think I popped your head off in enough games tonight to disprove that allegation.
Bashing and skill ARE mutually exclusive. So says my Infiltrator with Anti-Gravity Sprint proto. Bashing takes speed, not skill.

You misunderstood me: I didn't mean bashing takes skill - I meant otherwise skilled players may choose to bash on certain maps. Just because someone chooses to bash doesn't mean they have no skill in general, which seems to be implied in many of the posts on this thread. I mean, Booyaka bashed me at the start of a 1 v 1 in Rig earlier today - that says it all really. As I have said before: I prefer maps with no shield, but if it's there I'll use it.
