This has happened to me as well, but I just figured that because I levelled up, my energy got used up anyways(?)
thats what i figured too, but the opposite happened to xdanleex, he lved up [he was in a round already in progress too] but his energy didnt get spent. so idk
Do you get a full energy bar when you level up? or do you have the same amount? Cause getting a full energy bar when you level up would be great. Kinda like when you level up in some RPG's and you get full health.
Ah dang. They should add that in as well then. It's also for upgrading your skills (rate of fire, damage, speed, etc.).

No, because the only way to level up is by earning credits. The cumulative amount determines your level. Hehe, enjoy this. It's a work in progress, so add me up so I can complete it!
No. You gain skill points but you don't level up I believe. And Skill points are used to determine who the system will match you up with.
Ehh, I was playing someone who had it and I'm pretty sure I beat them 9-0? It woulda been 10-0 but they quit the match. It was a fun match though. Dude who I beat, it's alright. You can only improve. If it makes you feel any better, I got owned by Kunning.

The only lag I've had was when I was downloading Touch Pets at the same time as playing. It's been awesome for the rest of the time.
