It really depends on your style. Me, I'd upgrade your rifle at first so you can get the aim down and level up. Upgrade your standard armor until you can get infiltrator...it's the armor of choice (although sniper has become popular lately since terror uses it now...I swear if he wore a pink dress as armor, this place would look like we're at prom)...The best tips I can give you are: 1. Gobble up credits...you need them!! 2. No mercy.
Yup, that's some good advice. Don't be silly like me and use un-upgraded standard until level 20 for tanker... Infiltrator and sniper are pretty good armors. Practice your headshots! Not sure whether you need it or not, but buying the Mag-Rail proto helps if you're having trouble winning. To add to ccper's list: 3. Don't be a narbasher.

Thats really unfair....Just fought against level 50 and 45 with level 15 and only got 5 kills and last place. The whole time (really every fight) I am fighting against people, who are min. 10 levels above mine. How can I increase talent, if it is so unfair ? I already had talent 2400 when I was level 7, level 15 is double that much. This must be changed.

I got to be honest, if I see people with those annoying purple balls, I just bash them right away... they deserve it. but personally, I think the RL is an ok weapon. it is easy to avoid as long as you move.
