Yeah. I like all the maps but I hate being in the water. On flood, I just avoid the water completely. But there's only 4 maps right now so I'm sure they'll add more over time. 4 is good for an initial release.
It's not exactly like the plasma cannon, it shoots several purple "balls" that can bounce off the walls. It's pretty good, imo, although I find it *somewhat* harder to use than plasma. Definitely a weapon to use though, it's been getting me some pretty quick/easy kills ^^
Nope. It's a different gun. It shoots big "dark energy vortices" that ricochet off walls and stuff. I also usually kill myself with it. --MJ
Oh wow. FAIL. Haha. Not sure if I played Bedlam or not... I'll have to go check it out in a match with the bots then.
Can everyone chime in with lag issues? Both if you're having problems and if you're not having problems so we can get a good sense of spread? Thank you!
Stick with the Assault rifle. I use it 95% percent of the time. I only use the Plasma when the Assault is out of bullets and my enemy is firing back at me. Haha. Or when I round the corner and its close-range.
I've been playing in Melbourne via 3G and surprisingly the connection isn't as lag as I expected. Had a blast playing it while waiting for my girl to do her shoppings Now I wish that ngmoco could include some performance adjustment in the settings menu... Really wish there's steady 30fps performance :/
Just when I get away from my router. Favorite map is Tank, why? Because you can use the underground tunnels to flank your opponents and take them by surprise!
First of all, I'm really enjoying this game so far. I think the controls need a little more tweaking for me to truly be in my element, but still better than most. Second, I think your idea of a set amount for unlimited energy is a great idea. The people who are hooked are gonna spend money no matter what. The somewhat casual player though, that might not spend a whole lot just might be tempted to cough up some cash for unlimited energy, especially if they get into a heated rivalry for a couple of matches. I also think the potential for a subscription based model for discounted energy, etc. would work out extremely well. At any rate, I can't wait to see what kind of numbers Eliminate will produce for ngmoco if they are ever released/revealed.
had a couple of games where some people were lagging a bit and some lag at the first 20-30 seconds of some rounds other than that its all good wifi here
