I think they should just remove them. If they don't everybody is free to use them. It's cool with me! Good players need to know how to avoid getting bashed, actually it's not that difficult... when I play there is always someone who uses it. Even if I don't somebody else will. Even if you just take it and don't bash people with it, you still have a major advantage of being invincible for that time. Nobody will ever know if they should run away and hide or if they can trust you not bashing them. 99.9999% will just run since you are invincible during the power up time and you will go after them firing beams... so it's never fair to use a shield and it never makes sense to leave it alone since someone will use it... So my conclusion is everybody is free to use it... If I know people tend to do that like 2 times on me I change my strategy, hide and wait for them to jump into water in order to wait for the next or just take it away from them and now you changed the roles and you can shield camp a couple times back.
alucard, are you talking about me? I only grab the shield because if I don't, other people will and then bash me. In bedlam I hang around that area because everyone goes there to try to grab the shield. I do it so I can just vaporize them. Otherwise I'm just running around like crazy trying to find people, since they tend to hide and then just run quickly for the shield. I never use the shield when I play on 1vs1 with a few people here, like expandin, terrorist, bat, etc. And for the record, I hate the shield. I hope ngmoco gets rid of it. I hate getting bashed by it.
Yeah usually on 1vs1 there's no time for shields... you guys are just too good in running away so it makes little sense to wait for it. I also hate getting bashed but until they remove it for good, it's free for everybody to use. Actually sometimes it can even help, because you can run away and get the health power ups and reload your health until the shield runs out, turn around and have an advantage then. What I also love to do is run behind the person using the shield, those persons never look back.. once the shield runs out you will have the advantage of hitting him from behind and landing 2 shots before he can turn around... So there's a solution for everything but most people just feel annoyed because get bashed in moments where they just don't expect it.
You're both idiots. There have always been 2 shields on tank, since launch. Before there was one in the water, and one down the long hallway. Since the update they moved the one from the long hallway down to the basement. They left the water one alone.

The Pay-system kills Eliminate. The best are the ones that invest the most time and are willing to buy power cells. Now even more with this Prototype armors. Don't waste your money... for a game that will be forgotten in a year.
I can't help but think there might be an Eliminate2 without energy and all...based on the same system with more maps to buy in packs. I'm sure it won't be just Eliminate Pro... but you are right the best one's are the one's with the most credits and best prototype armors...that's the way it is!
I only do it because I know you do it, too. You've shield bashed me lots of times. You're only upset because I beat you 4-3. I only shield bashed you once, and it was sort of an accident. I was going for the damage amplifier and you tried to go for it at the same time. You practically ran into me, not the other way around.

I went for it because I know you always go for the shield. I protect the shield so no one else gets it. I usually don't bash with it, unless people start to bash me or I'm playing against someone that bashes (95% of the people). If you want, Hiko, we can have an agreement to not grab the shield whenever we play a 1 on 1.
i never go for the shield when i know i'm on 1v1 against a top25 player ... (but sometimes, i don't know i'm on 1v1 for the first kill so i may use it )

Yep, I think so too. I get killed even more quickly by people 10-15 levels above me who spray rockets around now... I really hope they implement a refund system so we can change equipment when these tweaks happen (WITHOUT penalty otherwise it will make the level differences worse).
