Yeah I know I'm addicated... need to get away from it... so I'm only playing away my free energy... I get so many joining in games in progress because I'm too high in skill... that is the only cool side-effect from being on top. @NGMOCO... My biggest feature request for 1.2: A button to clear the follower list.
NOVA will be out VERY soon. (trusted source) Let's assume it has WORKING multiplayer... if the game is good, will you guys spend the same amounts for energy as you do know? I have 2 iTunes gift cards and not sure if I should spend them now. I have the feeling prices will fall like crazy. Since I need to spend less time on Eliminate anyways I'm not sure it makes sense to buy energy anymore... I would love to see like 5 new maps in next release. The current ones feel so old and repetitive... I think anybody here agrees on dumping tank and flood for 7 new and better maps ALL without berseker shield.

Why don't you ever sleep? It's 3.00 am your time you're online and gaming. it's 6 am you're still playing... it 8.48 am your time and you're inside TA. Get some sleep before then reset and kill the Leaderboard and introduce the new daily self-resetting one.
NO Just plain logic, because it sucks for most not being able to ever get there if they joing now... new people get frustrated and leave. It doesn't matter how good somebody is, if he enters now he will have a hard time to upgrade (costly), less joining in progress because there are so many low levels etc. It takes like double the time to get to the top now as it did when we started. So it only makes sense to replace the top 25 ranking by a weekly leaderboard. It 9.00 am right now, why don't you sleep? You haven't slept all night !!!!
Fatal flaw in ur logic: all Matchmaking is based on skill. And upgrading gear has no relevance at all to leaderboards. Nothin you said makes sense. Maybe ur the one who needs some sleep.
No, your right the skill board will remain as it is, but they should also introduce new leaderboards where new players have a chance... I don't see how to motivate newcomers... they have a much harder time now and get less for their money. When I tell my friends I'm level 72 and they ask how long to get there and I say about a month, or now even more. They simply have no motivation to start playing. How many hours of sleep did you get? And upgrading is like 1:1 with skill...never seen a level 24 in the top 10. It's like a function of your rank... so Skill level f(x,z), x is rank level, z is true skill So: f(x,z)=0.8x+0.2z, if you can't get x fast enough it suxxx
Mm I've been playing for like 7-8 days I think and I'm 7th so it's really not that hard. It's only frustrating when retards SHIELD BASH YOU! I'm gonna keep saying it until people get it or ngmoco turns that shite off. I mean the real problem here is that people on the highest skill bracket aren't there cause there good. It's because they got lucky a few good times with players lagging out and them mopping up, or they just bash people to death. Neither of which takes ANY SKILL! If u see me in a 1v1, and not many of u will cause of skill, be a man, and don't use a shield, just see wat happens, I'd rather lose to someone actually playing then just sitting by a stupid shield with health and not being able to stop them. (or a woman, for ginas sake, not that she would stoop to bashing me) I was at tank, and honestly I got bashed 8 times. Come to find there were 3 shields, cmon ngmoco, get rid of that crap and let the players play.
N.O.V.A....the future of Arsenal Energy Cells Monopoly. The problem I see right now in Eliminate in comparison to NOVA is that most newcomers will have a disadvantage in Eliminate because they need to play 7-8 days straight for like 8 hours in order to get some good equipment or spend 200$ on credits. If I'm playing on my noob account I get to realize how slow the standard gear is and the auto-rifle is just not strong enough. Once NOVA is out and assuming the multiplayer really works... 95% of the users who have not been able to get some good gear in Eliminate and feel like having a disadvantage and switch over to NOVA where you get the game for the price of 3 days worth of cells in Eliminate. I LOVE Eliminate and I don't think the multiplayer mode will be anywhere close to what ngmoco has accomplished, but I see the energy-system collapse because most PRO players stopped buying cells right now, and new ones might just consider switching to a game they value for costing only a fixed price. Eliminate also disappeared from the TOP rankings in the App Store because of the bad ratings, while most Gameloft titles even make it to stay ini the TOP rankings for a LONG time... like Hero of Sparta is still there after 1 year or so. All in all I see lot's of changes coming to Eliminate. I'm not complaining but I think things will be changing VERY fast once NOVA is out.
If you read this therad at all, its the number one complaint to ngmoco other than matchmaking. Both which havent been addressed at all. The only thing that they've done with the shield is move it from the water to the botton in tank.
Assuming the multiplayer works But seriously, I'd rather pay for a fair game than pay for an unfair one. Easy as that. Matchamaking is never going to be fixed, and even if the shield is fixed now, the damage has been done.
I think that the damage can be repaired but can they fix it fast enough. It is realy a race right now to see if ng can fix all their problems before GL gets their act together. GL though is doing a horrible job right now so NG better move fast while it can.
No, actually, they made it worse! They put 2 shield powerups in Tank. One in the pool in room 73 and one in the middle of the underground tunnel. That is just ridiculous in a level that tight and small. Please ngmoco, do away with that one!
Shields O I kno how many people complain guy, believe me, I know. But I want people to just stop playing with them, and, keep complaining till they get removed. I mean if anyone has been in a match with me in global, they will tell u that 95% of the time I grab the shield and runnaway from my opponent. Just so that it's gone. The only time I use a shield is when someone else, who will still remain anonomous camps by it. So I kill him then bash him to death. It's seriously wat u deserve if u use shields. I want people to read this and say "I'm not gonna useshields anymore. But! If someone camps on me when I'm not using the shield, I'm gonna bash them to death." That's fair IMO. And as for the tank. I've been informed that there may b a glitch where the old tank map and new combine and there will be a shield in the water, under the tunnel and in the original room where the cloak is now. That's three dam shields in arguably the smallest map! Are u kidding me? FIX IT! NO MORE SHIELDS, LET THE BEST "PLAYER" WIN!!!
