Lol owned some lvl 38 on a 1v1 vs my lvl 25 now. Owned him 9-1. his only kill..shield bash. Hehe. Nice to see him using a battle rifle and vaporizer though.

Wow, it gives me like 10 skill points for every 1st place win and takes more than 200 if I get in 2nd.
Yeah, I know how skill-based rankings work. All I'm saying is that it takes a lot more away than it gives. A lot more.
Yeah, that's true... it also puts more pressure on doing good EVERY time! You need to win 21 matches so you can loose one in order to skill up. I think 10 000 is the limit in this game so far... one would have to be completely perfect to constantly increase his/her skill level.
It also depends on who you lose to and who you beat doesn't it? If you take on a level 7000 as a level 9000, you have more to lose than gain, as opposed to taking on a say 8800 as a 9000, right?
Correct. Sometimes when I win against players with skill level below 8000 I don't get any skill points at all
Yeah, I know what you mean. Whenever I play people with a skill of around 8000-8500, I only get like 10 skill points. I lost against a couple of level 8300 because they kept teaming up against me and I lost by 1 kill. Still got almost 250 skill points deducted.
Happens to me also from time to time...sometimes I feel like a magnet when people team up against me... Maybe we should both do that too That would be some nice fun I've also stopped looking at Skill points... it's difficult to say who's better. I would say you're better than me. But it's more like it depends on the opponents and the time you usually play. Sometimes you have very good opponents but you know how to take them down easily as they are fitting your style. I played against appleguy yesterday. He is Lvl 40 I think and what he does is he is hiding all the time and spams rockets from places you've never seen. I find it difficult to play against players like him because most of the time I find myself running around looking for him.
Haha that's funny cuz I do the opposite. When I'm in a game with a player who I know is 9000 skilled or over, I try to take out the other guy for the easier kill. And damnit, why must the god's of match making force me into one on ones with dvessel for credit?! Dude is too good for me. I'm usually just hoping to get at least one kill when I play you. The last match in flood I was surprised I got a few lucky non-berserker shield kills on you.
