Shit happens and the game is as consistent as bad diarrhea. Last night I was doing really badly. Half the time my vap wouldn't register. I reset my router and did better. I'm growing to hate this game. Too many unknowns affect the outcome. I've relaxed my playing but if this doesn't change, I'll stop playing completely which is a good thing anyway.
I prefer playing only sometimes so i dont get too frustrated. you should too unless your like MLG and need to hone your skills or some hardcore shit
Nothing hardcore here. It was addicting, so I kept playing. Their business model is similar to a drug dealers and they got me since I have an addictive personality. I'm over it now. Will take it in moderation.
You are the best player right now... and I'm not talking about the skill level but based on the games we had. It's always fun to play against you even though most of the time I loose You can't predict anything and most stuff is still a variable. If you are at the top you can only fall from there as far as skill level concerned. I've seen terrorist playing for 4-5 hours straight this morning in order to get back to #1...that's ok but hey that's still only a game and the fact that you guys are good at the game won't change only because you move down a couple of ranks. I haven't checked my current ranking for 2 days or so as I don't care anymore...it just doesn't say anything and for me the game is all about having a great time and not constantly trying the rank up. Otherwise it can get very frustrating. e.g. loosing against you or terrorist is almost a certainty to me or others... say I lost against terrorist 2 times today and lost 100 skill points...which is still not fair because he entered and left as the better player. To make up those 100 points I would have to win against 3-4 other level 50 players. I'm still not getting how terrorist can kill me in one shot even if I have 175 health. Can't imagine one being able to be so precise with aiming on the iPhone...I'm playing it daily and just can't get there.
after i started new account i decided to buy small cell pack, i used free cells and cells i bought. well some games finished just after start, where nobody got any frags. in other games opponents are always at least 10 levels higher. i won almost all games so it's ok, but still because of such difference in levels there was no possibility to taunt and earn extra credits. ngmoco fix already your f game and servers.
@expandin, I'm not too concerned with rank. I've played Tombstone 10 games in a row and Terrorist a few times in world knowing I'd lower my rank. The problem with the variable I've mentioned is that it's a fundamental mechanic that allows gameplay. I shoot someone, it should register. That's not so fun when it misses. It's extremely sensitive to latency and fps. Both of which vary by a big margin. (I've done some ping tests) They also change the speed of the games. I've mentioned this before and this variable is not needed at all. Too fast and it becomes a stuttering nightmare. Too slow and it's bullet time. Only they know what else they've tweaked without telling anyone. But yes, it was fun playing you. btw, I know my aim isn't the best but I know when I hit someone square in the head. There's audible feedback but it doesn't always happen.
Yeah, they are changing all sorts of variables from time to time. I hope for new maps and more even weapons with less damage per shot overall.
my first post in this thread -_- finally started playing the game is additional energy all that you purchase with actual money and not ingame credits? If you have to pay for weapons and armor I'm not interested..
I find it surprising you didn't know that since you've been kicking ass. Yes, head shots are very important with the vap. Body shots take about 4 hits from what I've experienced. 2 for the head.
with reallife money you buy powercells which give you energy which allows you to play more games which means you get more credits which means you get to buy armor and weapon and upgrades!
