efp1 i am sure that he had not power ups, but interesting is another game with same opponents and i can frag with few vaporizer hits and at the same time my armor can also stand several hits. so seems like hits at client side are shown sometimes as effects but server does not register them for some reasons.

Kaizyu well if it's lag then game would not be so smooth, and net code of q3 should handle lags more or less good. And these things in eliminate look like some problems with tick rate at clients or server side.
What are you aiming at? I find that even though only the AR can headshot, aiming for the head with other weapons is still much more effective than the body. I use a PC (1 level away from max in all cats) and it's a lot more deadly when I hit a guy in the head than the body.
