If you consider the time for the battle then I guess you do. I was thrown in there on the tail end along with ginababe. Last night I was kicking major ass. The connection was solid and framerate smooth. The Vap depends on smooth game play. I even made it to position 2 on global skill but Tombstone knocked me right back down. Earlier today, my connection was so shoddy I couldn't kill a lvl 30. fps seemed to dip into single digits and my hits wouldn't register. This game needs to be a lot more consistent.

Well guess what I am a weak 50 & that's not really big news. I would rather have the person who beat me just express that he felt good for beating another player a lot of levels ahead of him, but it's Touch Arcade not Mature Gaming Forum. I inturn responded via terroist's chat wall by my own request with my feelings of how I saw and disliked other's play styles and I'll admit that probably wasn't the best medium to express my opinions and I apologize to the offended. I've also seen posts like* "if it wasn't for employee's armor I would kick his a$$" Well I guess if I didn't have weapons either that would happen to.* So is this person saying the only way he can beat me is if I didn't have armor? Cause that would be the case for everyone. Or the comment* "He obviously didn't get there by kills" Eventhough I killed that person enough to level from 47 to 48. How else would I level??? You have to get kills Even more sad is that this particular comment came from a moderator of this site, which already tells me the forum demographic I'm expressing to has a very pre-pubesant attitude now matter what the age.* It's comments like those that are purely pointless unless you just wanted to start something which you think everyone will agree with to fill your Internet ego. My point is....in a game filled with hundreds of varibles, i'm pretty hard pressed to say I beat anyone or am so much better than anyone or anyone is so much better than me (even though there are) Examples not excuses -joined battle in progress -just got new armor that is not upgraded -didn't get to power ups fast enough -some other idiot is blasting you while your trying to kill someone. -etc The concept of team work?????!!!!!! Senerio: In Tank map, 3-way dance Player 1 is in the shield corridor spraying rockets so no one may enter. Players 3 sees player 2 get splattered and then tries to take out player 1 (the problem player in corridor) & player 2 respawns comes in the room and blasts player 3 and then gets splattered by player 1 himself. Why for the love if god????!!!* Just so you can get a quick kill. Focus on the strong player then you two can have it out!! Cause you really didn't accomplish anything by taking me out when we almost had him dead between both of us. Now he's stronger dumba$$* My point is unless your in a one on one battle, it's pretty hard to say "someone sucks" or "you would kick there a$$" Even when your in a one on one dance there's always some idiot who bashes you, taking away your hard earned kill. That's not skill in the very least!!! I'm sure I've killed every person that has killed me (even terrorist). You win some and you loose some Basically when it was available me and my friends really enjoyed the game and played it a lot no matter who was better or worse.* Sometimes it was "I know your gonna hand it to me, but let's play anyway" So yes I am a weak 50 I'm sure they will annouce it right after the* Jon and Kate plus 8 interview Personally I feel the best player in this game could have provided a more inviting tone for this entire thread by setting a helpful and respectful example by giving insightful and more encouriging post to help players beneath his skill, however he chose the route he took cause that's who he is.* However everyone else seemed to follow suite with arrogance and snide remarks and factional power struggles (which I find terribly pethetic but that's me, not judging in anyway...I'm a nerd too). The ethics in this forum change fast, if one of it's members doesn't like something it doesn't take long for the others to follow like baby ducks. First shield camping is bad...then only good because your "controlling the map" and now it's bad again. Paying money and reaching level fifty is cheap because you did what the devs wanted....you paid to play. You bought cells, killed for credit, and leveled to gain more weapons and accessories. So why is that fround upon....some people have more money than others, plain and simple. *I do see how boosting between two devices is cheap @ngmoco: * How is this game based on skill when all you need to do is get the shield first, then bash someone, get their health, grab a damage amplifier, kill them and get their health again, grab the other shield and bash them and grab their health and repeat? Concidering it takes real money to level which in turn allows you to get better attributes that become absolutly moot after level 50 when the game is based on power ups and who gets them faster. Keep in mind level only allows you more access....has nothing to do with stregnth so stop crying about being match with a level 50. So when these 39's that beat me cry cause they got matched with a fifty maybe they should look at the skill and be happy that if they are that good now they will be crazy good at 50. If anything cry about being matched with someone 3,000 more skill than you. Cause that's where the problem is. You can actually get 10 kills without ever firing a weapon in "tank" map, & you don't even need to camp for a second. As someone who's invested a lot of money, time & energy into this game by my own choosing. I would now like to see a better game come from this development.* Refinments: -Taking the berserker out of the beserker shield? Besrker shield???!!!* It's not enough to have an impenatrable shield for limited time? does it really need bashing functionality? -Skill for kill not kill for skill? Senerio: Players 1-4 *Player 1 gets ten kills comes in first: 4 bashes and 6 kills from players with less than twenty health *player 2 gets 3 kills comes in 3rd: All kills from gundowns from players with 170 health. -If player two has less skill who should get the most skill for the match?* -Should your deaths count against you if they don't already? -Smaller maps? No.....seriously make them bigger so you can at least get a handle on camping. That being said, I like the game and have fun playing no matter who kills me, weather I'm just casually playing between watching T.V. Wow... What a great first post. It's a game, grow up. You're upset because someone said you sucked? Wow... I'm sorry, it's just that your post is hilarious. If someone says you suck, don't whine about it. All you have to do is prove them wrong by beating them, not by posting an extremely long and boring post whining about it. I think you're the one that needs to grow up and mature a little. Just ignore people that say you suck. It's not the end of the world if you do, anyway.
Yah haha. Basically Employee, you're getting matched up with lower levels, and it's really unfair. I would assume that realistically, a lot of the lower levels are as good as the game as you are, but because they cannot upgrade their armor and weapons, they take fewer hits before they die and cannot kill you in time. Which brings me to the point everyone seems to be missing. A true test of SKILL in this game would be a 1v1 match where both are lvl 50 with fully upgraded weapons.
Cause it pritty much sums up the aditude of players here in this thread. I like competition but here it's just complaining and ego boostig yourself by bashin others. It's to annoy illiterates. Well said employee. Now get back to work! No seriously, it's a shame you had to point that out because it's true. People need to get a handle on themselves. It's a game, have fun. No need for friction. Don't confuse friendly competition with filling your own false sense of ego. It'll get deflated real quick.
I wasn't whinning, I was just expressing my thoughts on the game and it's players. If you read it thoroughly you would have gathered that I don't care who says what and I apologized for letting it get to me at all. And if it's to long for your attention span then don't read it. Stick to the one sentence posts.
I read it and I agree on a few of your complaints. For example, the beserker shield is ridiculous, I agree. We all know these things, and so does ngmoco. So I don't even need to point it out anymore, since this whole thread is probably 60% of complaining about beserker shield, small maps, matchmaking, etc. What I don't agree with is your complaining about people saying you suck. Who cares? Really? And don't worry, my attention span is great.
