Unresponsive controls? Has anybody yesterday or today experienced totally unresponsive controls in eliminate as well as extreme lag? It'll work for a little bit and run smooth then the joystick and strafe totally stop working. It's annoying I've lost close to 600 skill level points because of this today and have tried all of the obvious fixed. This game would be a lot more enjoyable and PLAYABLE if the gameplay ran more smoothly on a more frequent basis. Done ranting
Thanks for the mention. I didn't feel I needed to justify it with a response though. They shoot me down a few times then all of a sudden I have no skill. I do tend to be lax at times too. The game I play against the top 10 isn't the same game I play against underlings. BTW, I've been annoyed with the controls too. Becomes unresponsive until I lift my thumbs and my point of view will shift to the floor after getting shot. Very random. The frame rate problem on the 3gs is also annoying. Try playing on a 3g or older iPodÂ… Yikes!

I would not be surprised if someone with a jailbroken device was doing it, but so far I not seen any cheating in matches (for what I can tell anyway)

Boy, I think the promotions/short recharge times may be going too far. I was fine with the four hour recharges -- but I understand they probably wanted to see if they could raise the review average by shortening the recharge time (so far it hasn't worked and the game is vastly underated at three stars,) but I saw last night the game had dropped to like 17 on the highest grossing lust and now today it's out if the top 50. I guess they know what they're doing, but it seems like they're costing themselves a lot of profit in the hopes of appeasing those who felt like the game was unplayable without energy or if they ever had to pay anything for it, and so far not only hasn't the review score improved, but for awhile yesterday it had actually gone down. Plus, all the people playing nonstop are going to earn all the credits and levels they'll ever need and will never feel any need to buy energy so they can reach a new level or upgrade some armour. Just my opinion, of course.
Weapons So I recently upgraded from plasma cannon to vaporizer, and I noticed I immediately started sucking. Whereas before I could strafe around and kill people with much more powerful weapons, I find it very difficult to kill anyone with a vaporizer, unless they happen to pop up right in front of me. I guess this is a combination of its requiring a high degree of precision/having ridiculously long reloads (sometimes, I think it just disappears for a while...). I'm also not sure about its range. Anyway, I'm trying to decide if I should try investing more credits/levels into upgrading the vaporizer, or give up and do something else (antimattter?). Could anyone spare some advice? Does it get better? It also might help if I practiced/turned off auto-fire... Thanks.
