I havent seen anybody use the Plasma cannon.... I always see the Black Shadow shooters and Rocket Launchers.
SighÂ… Been addicted to this game and noticed this thread. So, here I am. Just registered. I won't be posting often though. I've wasted enough time. First off, the top 5 guys are incredibly good. I can rarely get a kill. Part of it is due to the fact that the sniper armor can't take a beating and this game favors those who are in close range combat. The other is that a lot of these guys have really good aim. *Any* shot near my head and I'm toast. It's not uncommon for someone in their low 40's to kill me easily with my armor maxed out. I don't recommend the sniper armor. And a note to NGMoco, it seems the game dynamics are fiddled with pretty often. There are times when I do extremely well, but then the next session a PC junkie at about 43 will two shot me from a very long distance. And that was recently. There are even instances where the games speed differs drastically completely throwing off your rhythm. All in all, even with some of the annoyances. I've had a lot of fun. The worst offender is getting stuck on corners for no apparent reason but that's less of an issue as you get used to it. Also, there seems to be some complaints on certain weapons. The rocket launcher for example. I've certainly abused it myself at times but it's one of the ways I have a remote possibility of winning with lvl 50 players. I take 2 shots from the Vaporizer and I'm gone. In those cases, the rockets are used to soften them up and throw them off balance then I switch to my Vaporizer. If it's executed right, the vap will take about 4 hits to kill. BTW, ViciousBM has this odd way of playing. He's lower level than myself (I'm 50) but he's pretty consistent on beating me. I think this adds to the fun of the game. Throwing new techniques to throw off your opponent as opposed to making a b-line with the PC. That retarded gait as they charge you is scary. Keep rocking guys. BTW, I'm also polynomial-c, level 10 with about 5k skill.
Wow. I respect you a lot even before this post. You are the best sniper I have seen. Also I think this game needs bigger maps that provide sniper and infiltrators like me and you a better chance.
I really wanted to be a sniper in this game but the map is so small. I had no way to sniper and if I do snipe it takes two shots but when I fire the first shot I get spotted and there's 4 rockets and 3 vaps beam coming my way.
Dude that game was retarded I'm sorry for throwing rockets all over the place but I joined with like 20 seconds left I had to do something. I hate tank.
Lol its cool..I figured you were just doing that to get quick kills in. Its cool I mean, I was just annoyed that all 3 of my matches I was put with lv.40+ people. I guess I'm g2 have to start dropping my skill again -_- *Hint hint* Ng, DO SOMETHING
