Haven't had a lot of experience with berserker shields and camping it, and I haven't really counted how long a power up lasts or how long it takes to respawn. Since the berserker shield makes your invulnerable, wouldn't it just make you invulnerable the whole time if you camp it? Or is there a window when it's down and you wait for it to respawn? I mean, taking into account powerup upgrades for armor.
Exactly. The first time I played the game and didn't know where anything was it was cool to find them hidden, but now it makes it a convenient space for camping cowards.
Tanker- I notice that not many people know where the second berserker shield is, in the water.. I use it to my advantage when I spawn in that place. Otherwise I run around shooting, then look for shields. I don't camp at the place.
There's really no point in winning games. Just taunt dead bodies nonstop and you'll get around 90 credits whether you win or lose.
I`ve had a 1v1 match with someone. killed him 10-0. Rarely got hit. Taunted until the body disappeared (heard like 5/6 Yeahs) and still my credits were just 70 something. Not quite sure what happened there.
Yeah but with more players in the game you could get more credits. In 1 v 1's that's about what I get too.
Not so. One of those credits things you pick up gives one credit each. Taunting also gives one credit each. The rest of the credits you earn are based on how you did in the match. How else would you get 90 - 140 just kill and taunting (each corpse only yields 3 - 4, and then 5 - 6 from taunts). At least, that's according to a certain someone, whose name I can't remember. Perhaps Allen can enlighten us as to how it works, officially? No don't That's a good reward. Higher games wouldn't permit too much taunting anyways (faster-paced, more deadly for oneself if one stands around). And removing that would just make the game longer and harder, thus removing the fun that ngmoco seems to want to give all players.
