You're better off just getting the vap and upgrading it to your levels max. The auto rifle is really freakin expensive to level after it's around 6
I already have Vap...its of no use to me at the moment. I'm just trying to save credits first...i only have 900 right now...and thats no where near enough.
yep..it was nice to see that after putting thousands of creds into my AR that they took away its 1 strongpoint. if thats not a huge middle finger to my face idk what is :/
I would LLOOVVEE to be able to join matches with people of my level, or hell, even a match with players that were only 5 levels ahead
Not as bad, as in my case... I spent like 4K to AR to make it a "good" 2th weapon. Then decided to go vaporizer

Yeah, I noticed this too. I figured I was just playing tougher people I'm totally for removing the headshot nerf. 15 bullets to the head should kill anyone, no matter what level.
Don't upgrade the AR until they "fix" it. Just focus on the PC, it'll push you up into the high skill ratings. Sorry, but I do what I can to play smart. When I'm going down and I know I'm doing down, I do what I can to get the kill. And often times that doesn't mean running kamikaze into the other person's gun. It usually instead means baiting them where I want them and springing a trap. It is a game of strategy once you get to higher skill levels, since almost everyone else is as good at aiming and moving as you are.
exactly. idk how ng justifies this. 2 shots from the PC = death, whereas 10+ bullets in someones head doesnt? hmm..not sure how that makes sense. my AR is upgraded to like..lv 7 i think? and yet it does me no good, at all.
Same. PC vs AR If both players are at medium range, and neither misses a single shot, the plasma cannon will win. Every time.
This. It sucks and I miss my AR, but I'm not ngmoco so I just had to adapt to what was best. Once the AR is rebalanced, I'll switch back, I'm sure
yep..so i kinda regret giving ng my money, since im not getting a good gameplay experience out of it, but more-so than that, i feel cheated. i just cant comprehend why ng turns a blind eye to the PC, all they've done is mod the distance it is effective from. its a start, but certainly nowhere good enough. EDIT: lols, i just got called an angry person in another thread
You know what would fix all this, imo? If you could just return your upgrades. Even for 75% of the cost. At least that way people don't push in 2k credits into a weapon just to have the nerf fu** em later. 2 cents.
it would be a start, but it certainly wouldnt be a fix-all. the fact would remain that in its current state, weps need some serious rebalancing. and by weps i mean the PC. because thats the only wep that seems to be incredibly overpowered
Agreed. It seems like ngmoco doesn't have damage attribute to range at all however, which is why it's so powerful.
