Oh who cares. Did kunning ever tell you he was going to be in the 53rd before he had the idea to create the 11th? The 53rd is the first battalion created, and to be honest, because we have no care for skill, it makes it more fun. Everyone chats about random stuff, coordinates matches together. Just because kunning runs a strict battalion and you all have high skill ranks doesn't mean that it's better. What is this game about anyway? Having fun and being social. Stopped ya'll dead there, didn't I?
I try, but most of the legitimate posts get buried under people organizing games, discussing results of games and such. Maybe we should have a new thread for match discussion/organization?
Although 53rd is probably more fun than 11th, 11th members are probably higher leveled and higher skilled. But if you want a good balance of both: Join 720th° Eliminate Battalion & PWNFIRE (Elite Division -"We Aim to PWN")
I have a question and I'm sorry if it has been mentioned earlier in this thread. I am currently level 5 and I am constantly getting matched up with level 9-11s. This even happened to me when I was level 4. Although I am still able to get second in most rounds, it is still hard to earn a lot of credits. This happens to me when I am both energized or not. I don't think I have ever been not the lowest level in a round since I started this game. Is this just happening to me or is it supposed to be like that?
Too late...sorry... Oh, announcement: From this point on, if you are in the 53rd, you have the freedom to join other battalions, but your loyalty lies with the 53rd. That will give you more freedom than other battalions.
Unfortunately, this is how the matchmaking system is working out for a lot of people too. It's because your are put into a match with people of a similar skill level, not actual level. I'm afraid there's nothing you can really do about it, except mass suicide to keep you skill rating low. Or waiting for the next update from ngmoco. They have been tweaking here and there quite a bit, so shouldn't be too long a wait... Look on the bright side, if you get used to, and can beat higher level players, you must be pretty good
I'm honestly not sure why people say that plasma gun is overpowered... Aim for the head with an upgraded auto rifle and you'll kill the guy in 2-3 shots. =/

Easy on paper, and easy to do in-game, until all of them realize they're dead, and start ignoring each other and only shooting at you. Though yeah, this will usually work as long as they don't all have upgraded Plasma Cannons.
I don't rely on the stupid shield, I understand you guys hate the shield, I actually hate it too, I must admit it was a stupid comment.
ahhh that post was all i needed to confirm that you do indeed take this game too seriously. lets see why its overpowered: 1] it shoots and kills from across the map. yea that makes a lot of sense for a shotgun-based wep. 2] say for instance an AR user is aiming for a PC users head, think bout that. AR reqs aim, PC doesnt. 3] in general, the PC fires too fast and is stronger than it should. seriously, it just makes sense.
