Plasma Cannon too. It's absolutely ridiculous. Every single time I join matchmaking i'm put against a level 44 who doesn't know anything apart from shotgun and berserk shield, who can one-shot me constantly and take off 25% health in one hit from the opposite side of the map. 5 seconds worth of auto rifle fire to the head does nothing to him also. So he's impossible to kill and just one-shots everyone. REALLY, really needs rebalancing. NOT fun when i'm only level 27.
It doesn't need nering. The reason why it does so much damage to yo is the pure amount of upgrades and level difference. If he had the auto rifle it would be the same story
What's a lv27 Doing with an Auto-Rifle? Get a Plasma Cannon and start Headshooting and you'll see the Difference. If I had your level, my Plasma Cannon would be sooo kickass, unfortunately I'm only lv15 and the Upgrades I can do are restringed because of my level. Btw, I also would suggest the possibility to Re-Sell your Equipment, I mean, I bought a Vaporizer and It's extremely useless at my level, compared to my Plasma Cannon, and I'd like to at least recover a 50% of what I've Misspent (Is that a word? lol) I'm sure that many of you have gone thru those mistakes, buying or upgrading weapons that are not worth it, and you'd like to re-sell them, to get more profit out of it.
Auto rifle can be realy hax at high levels if you good with it. And yeh, id like to sell my largely upgraded airborn now im ussing assult armour
That's my point. The game shouldn't be plasma cannon or bust. And for the record i'm consistently winning matches using just an upgraded autorifle (Skill level is 6200+) My point is every single game i'm getting matchmade in, there's the SAME PERSON there who's almost twice my level, and I can't do anything against him. It's getting frustrating that in the few thousand people playing, it's just me and this same guy all the damn time.
Actually I have used the Auto-Rifle the whole game thus far until late last night, and with the Auto-Rifle alone I topped the Global High Skill list twice now, beat Terrorist 1v1, and obtained 9400+ skill level... Don't talk sh** about my gun.
I would say a lot of it is skill (not that I have any myself). But when I was level 4 (level 5 now) I would get paired with level 8-9s with plasma cannon who couldn't hit the side of a barn. I mean, point-blank range with my stock armor and rifle, and I would take them one out of two times on a toe-to-toe. I am not good at all at this game, but I haven't had this much fun since Tribes...
+1 for complete agreement, I'm 6500+ skill at the moment and only level 19. Those match ups are getting impossible, you can't possibly beat someone who can one shot you, and that takes you 3 or 4 shots to kill. I have to run around to the health recharge just to have a chance, by which time I will have probably been shot/beserkered. It's going to result in leaderboard problems soon, as the best will remain the best uncontested if they can just play mindlessly and run around taking advantage of their superior upgrades and killing lower levels. It wouldn't be so bad if, like you said, we weren't constantly getting paired with the same people over and over. But after trying everything, I always end up seeing some people over and over again. The biggest problem is that now I'm wasting credits because whenever they do recharge, they just get wasted because I'm forced to play the top 10 in the world. Which is very bad for NG Moco, as I'm sure I'm not the only one who was planning on buying credits at some near point in the future, but right now that's looking like I'll be throwing my money down the toilet, so I won't.
I think it does, I have multiple times shot across the map with that gun and killed someone easier then using the auto rifle at long range. The problem with the shotgun is that there is no damage penalty over long range, so instead of being a close quaters gun only it's useful for every map at all ranges. Upgrades or not the gun itself is rather strong.
thanks =D I remember playing you quite a bit as well, think you're one of the more challenging opponents I've faced =P But the difference is it's not built for long range, sure you can, but you're not going to get a headshot as easily as you could with a true long range weapon, such as the rifle or vape, so therein lies the balance imo.

Can't wait to play this game. Definitely need to wait for the inverting option for the controls. Been playing that way since Duke3D and Quake 1 and even Descent. I can't even get past a bot match with the controls as they are
I am not able to connect to the servers because it keeps telling me that it cannot log into my plus+ account. I have tried rebooting my device, restart wifi, logged out and logged in again to plus+ yet nothing works! I have my full energy and it is being wasted Any suggestions?
