I agree that it has to be all or nothing, but there should be a check for how long a match last. Some times you join a match, start fragging like a madman, and before you can even taunt your first opponent, the match ends. So if a match lasts less than 15 or 30 seconds after player joins it, the player should not loose energy. It's unfair if the player joins a game that has only 15 seconds left. The player after all can't choose the match he joins, the game/server does that for the player.

Or then the match-up process should be changed so that it won't send player to such match. It's kind of annoying to join such match even if you aren't spending energy for it.

PS. I posted my first impressions some couple hundred pages ago, there's some suggestions there. Look my post history. Writing from iPhone so I can't bother to find it. :)

    My suggestion:

Take into consideration the level of the player when pairing them. It's very unfair that I have a high skill and low level (compared to others with similar skill) and I get destroyed by people 20+ levels higher than me. They've obviously got all their armor and weapons fully upgraded. They literally kill me in one or two shots. It takes me about 6 shots or more to kill them. Not fair at all.

Yea it's pretty annoying. It should be based on level, not skill.

Actually it should be both. Like I suggested a few days back, simply limit the matchmaker to about 10 levels that way all matches should be competitive.

Fully agree. As level has more to do with the toughness over you character. Skill is really nothing....

I think it should first pair with your same level, then pair you with similar skills within that level. If your skill is ridiculously higher than the next highest (like 1500 difference), Search for players 1 level higher. If the difference is still greater, search 2 levels higher. Then there should be a cap, you can't play someone 3-5 levels higher than you, for example.

Congratulations, viciousbm, on being another player who is only high ranked because you guard the goddamn bezerker shield.

Suggestion to NGMoco: Yes, the bezerker shield should be able to shield bash. But can you make it so that it's not invincible? I'm tired of 1v1s where I just have to run around while they shoot me, so that I don't get hit by their shield. My choice is A)Don't run, and get charged, or B)Run, and get shot down.

I agree! I hate when people do that, but I'm forced to do it now because if I don't, the other person will.

damn i dont care how good you are. Dont you get raped when you play guys 5-10 lvls above you since you have such high skill?

I try to not play to much without energy because if I do then my skill will go up and i'll end up playing mofos way higher lvl and not getting any credits

True that... it's very annoying... I'm always matched with people who are at least 5-10 levels above me...if I get shot like 2 times I'M DEAD! It takes me 5-6 headshots to get them....

Matching system should look at the Level first and then at the Skill level. Don't match people who are more than 5 Levels apart... Me Level 32 playing against C4PTAIN Level 50 is just a joke...I'm wasting energy on those matches...The good ones get better and get more credits and ones with lower levels have a hard time :(

You can beat it on onrail by going upto the bridge via the lift and the staninding on it so it won't go back down they can't get you via the other lift as it takes to long to get there but tank on the other hand is unbeatable

Yeah, this is an excellent suggestion. That would definitely make every match as fair as possible. The system now just creates way too many unfair battles. The problem is, while I dont have energy all the time and am not gaining level, I still gain skill. So the next dude down has energy all the time, and he gains level at the same time he gains skill. Thus you get a lvl 10 character with high skill, matched against all lvl 19's who have superior weapons and armors.

This is also an excellent suggestion. It is a cool concept and all, but at the moment it is to powerful, and to many people rely on bezerker to win matches.

Thank you mag, this is well said. I'm passing it along to the devs for their consideration.

Ok, lets say the RPG elements are Eliminates Unique Selling Point - but - I love the Leveldesign, Gameplay and Graphics that much that I would play it also without the RPG elements.

Also, what really counts in a shooter is skill. Even though I can pwn more in eliminate than in Halo or COD, now I not have to fear only the skilled "no live" gamer, now the "no live" gamer also have a better armor - that's just unfair and leads to an unbalanced game.

I would rather pay 10€-20€ for Eliminate and have a normal shooter or "free" energy cells. But I think the majority of iPhone Gamers are too avaricious to pay that for an iPhone game. I don't know the statistics...

Maybe there should be two versions of Eliminate: Eliminate Pro (free) and Eliminate Elite (5€-20€) and with unlimited Energy cells. Or at least there should be an in app purchase for unlimited Energy - ngmoco, please think about it, or do you think that the avarage user will pay more than 20-30€ on energy cells?

Btw.: By now there are over 100000 Eliminate Downloads and 4000 Players online.

For anybody else that is confused, he means to say "No Life" gamer. Not "No Live"....

That's about as far as I got :/

I think(and I already passed this to Allen...) that there should be a try before you buy system.
Like you could try out a weapon or ormor in a bot match before you spend your precious credits on it.
    What do you guys think?
