i use my infitrator armour. i think it is better than the airborn. i never bought the airborn though...
Why we can play just with the auto-rifle in offline-mode? :/ ...and, which weapon should I purchase? The rocket launcher or the vaporizer?! ...or upgradeing my plasma cannon?
I would get the rocket launcher now cause out of the box its better than the vaporizer, which is a little too surgical stock (the beam has a very short duration and you get very few shots) vs the Rocket launcher which is quite effective vanilla.
because in offline mode, u can only use stock items [idk why] DONT get the vaporizer. it sucks unless ur a high level so ur able to buy upgrades + u need a lot of credits. i bought it and regret it. as stock, u only get 3 shots per clip and firing time is slow. plasma cannon is a formidable foe if upgraded enough, but if u learn to use the rocket launcher efficiently, its pretty damn strong.
i cant think of the cell numbers off the top of my head, but there is a $1 pack, $10 pack, and $30 pack. if u g2 'get energy' it'll show u the layout of the pricing.
You can play offline with your weapons but only if you are conected to the HQ but if you are not connected you are only able to use the standard armor and the auto-rifle. I think that you should get the rocket launcher i havent tried the vaporizer though
So when you play good without energy, your skill will go up and then when you do have energy, you have to play against better players? That means playing without energy has another downside. It will be harder to turn your energy into credits when you are playing against someone with better armor and weapons.
a bit late of a reply ur skill level goes up/down whether u have energy or dont. when u have energy u credits, when ur out of energy, u dont. and yes, exactly, it is rather difficult to earn the necessary amount of credits when ur playing against ppl who have better gear, nonetheless, its possible. barely.
lol go for it, but realize that the $1 packs are basically worthless, u only get 1 game from them, the $10 packs last for awhile but still go wayy too fast for costing $10..
Yep. I think the prices for the packs are a bit steep based on the amount of games you get out of them. But I think the bigger issue still is the recharge amount after 4 hours. I think 4 hours is good but it really should reenergize you completely.
i can use my auto-rifle as a pretty effective sniper. i enjoy sniping and i was surprised that the maps were large enough to support it. anybody have other recommondations for guns with a good snipe potential? also who else enjoys sniping?
Actually you get 3 games from 20 power cells. 1 full power cell recharge (12 power cells) = 3 games/1 full energy bar.

Well the thing is that I don't see the times getting too much shorter honestly. Think about it Ngmoco needs to make some money off of this and really if you think about it the recharge time only affects you being able to soup up your character it does not block you in any way from being able to play the game. I think people are just being too greedy from what they want from a free game, Heavens its the best FPS on the iPhone (IMOP) People just enjoy it and if you want to upgrade faster then pay up That's my thinking, and its not directed at anyone in particular just my thoughts from reading this whole thread
