I just played a match with loves2spoon and some other guy. Great game. I won by staying at my first spawn point and sniping with the auto rifle. Plaese add me if you want to, I'm just starting to get the hang of this.
We were planning to add surveys into the game, but found out that most of them never really end/offer a terrible user experience. So we decided not to ship the game with them. We'll add them back in if we find a better way of ensuring you guys don't get effed by them. Coincidentally, TechCrunch posted a primer on the matter the other day if interested: Scamville: The Social Gaming Ecosystem Of Hell
Oh Ok, Thanks for the response! Hopefull you guys will be able to find a way to use them while at the same time keeping a good user experience
We don't currently have a way for you to access your account from the Web. Your best bet is to download SD Lite or something like Topple 2 Plus+ and edit your account from within those games. --MJ
B-Money is actually an intern doing all sorts of crazy stuff for us. But he's now doing production work on TouchPets and an unannounced project that I'm not going to tell you more about so don't ask. --MJ
Haha, no I'm just kidding, its just that it usually doesn't work. But if you've found it suitable, then do it.
2 things: 1. whats the ngmoshow? 2. are there going to be more touchpet games considering this one is called touchpet: DOGS?
1. The ngmoshow is a podcast we do on a, sadly, irregular basis. Hopefully once Eliminate is in the wild I'll have time to do another. 2. We don't have immediate plans to do so. But if TPD is a huge success, who knows?
What about the possibility of watching an ad or something to get a partial recharge? As much as I hate being bugged by ads and such, I think it would be different if I was getting something out of it. This way ngmoco still gets the ad revenue, and the user gets a partial recharge? Then again, this probably would only work short term as I'm sure you wouldn't be able to watch the same ad twice to get another recharge. Similarly, people could start the ad and set their device down til it is over. Anyway, just an idea. Personally I haven't played long enough to formulate a fair assessment of the effectiveness of the current energy system.
